Service, food, venue... everything was amazing! We absolutely loved coming to this beautiful restaurant on our holidays, in fact it was that good we went back again twice!

Service was absolutely wonderful. Couldn't fault a thing. We was shown to our table, told how long we expected to wait for our meal to come out. Even got an apology from the waitress as there was a lot of noise and kids around us as me and my partner was there on a date. Something which was out of her control. The food was piping hot and the portions was a amazing. Was our first time coming and would recommend anyone to go. Can't wait to visit again

Overall was satisfied although there were a few problems. There was a fly in the coleslaw, chips were cold, one order got mixed up and someone who has celiacs disease and asked for GF food was given non GF food and if they hadn’t have noticed it could’ve been extremely bad. The waitress we had was so lovely and kind tho!!!

visited on a Tuesday, to try out the tapas menu, before committing to the normal menu on another day.Have to say was disappointed.The food was nice but not wow, and although I appreciate it was a tapas menu, for the price I feel it was expensive based on portion size.Two meatballs each and two spare ribs each about 4"long were two of the 5 dishes.Based on this experience I would probably be unlikely to visit again.

We decided to go for a meal at the Smokehouse as a birthday treat for my wife, mainly as we've driven past it many times, trying to get there in the times advertised, 6 minutes from fullers hill, Great Yarmouth, in reality it takes 7 lol. Ample parking available, we were shown to our table, and asked if we wanted drinks, we ordered 5 glasses of fizzy and a jug of water and asked to order a sharing platter while we decided on our mains, we were advised it was best to order all food at once. The drinks arrived but only the water, when we queried this, the waitress said she check, it appeared our other drinks order got mislaid and they arrived. We ordered our food, a sharing starter and 5 burgers for mains, we were told it might be a 30 minute wait, which was fine, after 20 minutes our mains arrived first, we queried why no starter apparently we hadn't ordered one, but then part way through eating we did get an apology for not getting the starter as its order had got mislaid too. Other than this the burgers were amazing, the portions sizes were great too, probably the best burger I've had in a long while, and very good value. We decided to have dessert, portions were a little small, so not as good a value as the mains, but the pecan pie was glorious. Overall I'd recommend the smokehouse as a place to eat, plentiful mains, friendly staff and plenty of parking, will give it a second chance, just to see if our experience was just due to them being busy.

I have lived in the area for years but only ate here for the first time on 9th August 2021, and I wish I hadn't waited so long. My wife and I both had steak which was wonderful, very tasty and cooked to perfection. The staff were super and the restaurant itself was great and had a great atmosphere. We will be back. Thank you to all who made it a lovely evening for us

Went with my children and grandchildren it was brilliant, the staff very friendly and professional have no complaints what do ever. Will be coming again.

Excellent meal for family of six adults. Friendly efficient staff, tasty food and varied menu. Pleased to see several vegan options. Would definitely visit again.

Nachos were divine! All portions huge. Burger a tad over cooked but coleslaw also divine! All the staff were excellent!

Local restaurant to us. Good value for money, good food, staff are attentive, altogether a good experience and enjoyable birthday celebration. Will definitely go again.

Food was nice but very overpriced and not great value for money so would be unlikely to come back as wasn’t really special enough for the price it was. Only had one high chair which wasn’t helpful even though this was requested on the booking so had to wait until one was free which was awkward. Staff were nice and it has the potential to be a really nice place but wouldn’t recommend unless prices reviewed and there’s more than one high chair.

A really nice restaurant with lovely outdoor area. Staff are attentive and the food is good. Burgers are the best option in our opinion.

Took some friends for a meal Sunday evening, lots of items not available including beers. Kalahari was under cooked, had seafood burger should have prawns but got shrimps, staff walking around without masks and looking lost. Not a well organised restaurant.

It took us a while to find but we got there in the end . The setting is really eye catching We were met at the front door and shown to our table . The service was good , prompt. My salad that I ordered was lovely although too much ice berg lettuce , a mixture of leaves would make it more interesting and the chicken had a lot of skin in the mix / for a salad lighter bite . My husband ordered a bucket of wings which were lovely , did need more sauce on them and a “ wet wipe “ to accompany them would make a nice touch .. the decor really makes the place and is a popular venue .
