The Fox and Hounds – NorwichWent last night, awful. Cup / saucer coated in food from faulty dishwasher use, complained, that didn't help get clean main course plate, sweetcorn cold n not nice, also coldslaw. Chicken ok , sweet came on dirty plates n wrong order!!! Traveled 60 miles in total JUST to go there... Very disappointed
The Copper Beech – NorwichFrankly the only thing that's BIG about this place are their profit margins. The large fish portions are not much bigger than the medium, and considering the medium isn't much larger than the small which resembles a portion fit for a small child the term value for money is lost on Big Fry. Comparing to most other chip shops, this place serves large fish portion which equate to small elsewhere. Frankly, the cost of a small should result in the large size being served. The excuse of weight is laughable. Big Fry need to go and check out competitors. They wouldn't survive 5 minutes in many other parts of the UK. As for the small portions of peas/curry sauce, the large carton is the norm for other areas of the country. Get a grip - sort your prices out, skin the fish before battering, sell a whole side of fish and stop ripping hard working customers off. Finally, the batter is tasteless!! I said a year ago that I wouldn't go back. I made the mistake of doing so but never, ever again will my cash line the pockets of the jokers running this outfit.

Beauchamp Arms – NorwichVisited the Copper Beech on Friday evening, we were told there would be a 20 min wait, but we were shown to our table after waiting only 5 minutes. The staff were very friendly, greeted us on arrival, and acknowledged us when we left. We did not have to wait very long for the food. When it arrived it was presented nicely and the portion was adequate. We had a very pleasant evening and would not hesitate in going back.
The Copper Beech – NorwichWe have visited the Fox and Hounds a couple of times over the past few weeks and will certainly be going back, especially now they are open at lunchtime! Haven't made it to a blues night yet but hope to soon. Thank you
