My husband and I visited yesterday (20/05/21) I had seen the advert on the roundabout. We weren't sure quite what to expect as we couldn't find much online, so we took a chance. We had a delicious lunch. Portion sizes were great, excellent value for money and the food was divine. I had the beef brisket-so tender,juicy and still full of flavour, and my husband had the mac and cheese burger. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Cant fault it, will definitely be back. Thanks

We came to Great Yarmouth on holiday and saw the Smokehouse as we were driving and booked a table online for the evening. Amazing food and service, the brisket was unreal! I’d recommend a visit without a doubt.

Had a lovely meal on Wednesday 19th May. On arrival we were greeted by a lovely member of staff who took us to our table. All of the waiters/waitresses were tentative, helpful & seemed genuinely happy to be back working & looking after their guests. The food was second to none, perfectly cooked, presented & value for money. I love everything about the smoke house & will always be a regular customer 10/10

Visited the Smokehouse with friends on 18th May. From the moment we entered the building to the time we left all the staff were attentive and nothing was too much trouble. The food was first class and plenty of it. We will definitely be back and would definitely recommend the restaurant.

My first visit to Jorge's was for their "Tapas Tuesday" this week. The ambience and atmosphere in the restaurant was lovely, the staff were friendly and we felt very welcome. I've wanted to try Jorge's for a while, but was intimidated by the relatively high prices so the Tuesday offer seemed like a good option. The amount of food was reasonable, but it was a bit disappointing. We had one outstanding dish, two simple cold salads and two warm dishes which involved minimal in house preparation (e.g. chorizo) accompanied by fries. Personally I see a set menu on a typically quiet day like this as an opportunity for the chef to showcase seasonal produce and interesting dishes they want to cook, with the hope that customers will see it's worth paying more to come another night. As it was it felt like there was no passion or interest in the menu. We did have a delicious bottle of wine and and it wasn't outrageously priced (although much inflated from cost as is usual). The menu didn't prevent us from having a good evening, but it hasn't made me want to rush back.

I had an amazing experience at the smoke house yesterday! Lovely food and all the cocktails I had was amazing!! The staff are so friendly and the lady who served us was so helpful! It was my partners birthday and everyone went to the extent of making it extra special! Will be back soon :) would be amazing if they did 2 for 1 cocktails or 2 for £10 on certain days as that would definitely make me come back more often x

Really lovely atmosphere at Jorge's last night - they have a fab covered area in the courtyard, with really good heaters to keep you warm! We were not cold at all - I would highly recommend Jorge's as a great place to be for outdoor dining. The food and wine were all delicious - the wine in particular is always very good value - you can get a really good bottle for under £30 which is quite rare these days. We absolutely love the Pica Pau starter and the Portuguese pastel de nata are without a doubt, the best in Norwich - they should be, as they are made by a Portuguese! Thank you Jorge!

This was the second time we visited Jorges and it was as perfect as the first time. Once again Jorge and his team created such delicious meals and provided an amazing environment. Staff were as attentive, friendly and informative as before and we were extremely impressed as to how they coped with opening after lockdown. We were seated outside under a carpet of fairy lights surrounded by heaters, it was a perfect evening. I really can’t rate Jorges enough, it really is a truly welcoming and friendly experience where you’re treated like a guest and not a customer. The food is just exceptional, the beef melted in the mouth and I have never had hams which had so much flavour.

We went on Tapas Tuesday and the food was really nice, very tasty! It was during Covid when it was just outdoor dining only, they had a lovely little set up, and the atmosphere was nice and chilled and the staff were friendly. We will definitely come back when we’re next in the area! Thank you!

Terrible food - the worst I've ever had. We went to "tapas Tuesday" one of the dishes was actually a tin of peas and carrots warmed up and another was topped with kp dry roasted peanuts. The bread was stale. Horrendously over priced £19.50 pp for five awful tapas dishes. Really disappointed. The atmosphere was nice and the staff were pleasant .

With the weather and the restrictions that are currently in place Jorges restaurant was extremely hospitable. The food was amazing and I look forward to going back in the near future.

Amazing dining experience! Firstly the staff were very attentive and even arranged another table for us to sit at whilst we waiting for our main dining table under the heaters. They took time to discuss the menu and answer any questions. The atmosphere was wonderful with beautiful lights outside - yet still covid compliant. The food is so so good with great fish and meat options, they also have sharing platters which are great for groups! Cannot fault the experience and will definitely be back! Thank you!
