Pre theatre dinner - the staff ensured we ate in good time and were very attentive. Food was excellent and we are yet to be disappointed! Confit salmon was delicious.

we sat down in the resturant, 4 of us and there was a noisy party of about 14 in. the waitress asked if we wished to move and we did with no hassel to the bar area. the bar was later full with everyone talking quietly a good buzz .food fresh and excellent

We visited to celebrate a friend's birthday. It was well worth the hour drive. Food excellent, surroundings lovely snd the staff attentive without being too intrusive. We'll done.

Three of us booked for afternoon tea with Prosecco and it was honestly the best we have had. The food was delicious and the portions were very generous. The staff were friendly, polite and very helpful and the actual restaurant was very well laid out and well spaced so we didn’t feel crowded. Fantastic experience for what we thought was a good price. Will definitely recommend to family and friends. Thank you Hopping Hare.

Food was ok but the service wasn’t great. Shouldn’t take 20 mins for someone to first come over and offer a drink. Then waited 45 mins for food but hardly anyone was in there

Superb meal and presentation

Visited for the first time on Valentine's day . Hubby's meal was fine as he had a different dish to me . I ordered the beetroot risotto, was very salty ! So could not eat all of it , told one of the waitress who said she will tell the chef ! We still ended up paying the whole bill, no compassion whatsoever, nothing was offered to us . We were served by different waitresses. Staff were not very welcoming or very friendly. Atmosphere was poor . Had to switch on the fake candle on the table ourselves. Walked away feeling unimpressed.

The food is always fantastic and the service is second to none. This is always our first choice restaurant. The staff could not be more helpful and they are extremely friendly. It’s a pleasure to eat there.

We had an excellent dinner on Friday night at the Hopping Hare. My partner had the tasting menu and enjoyed every dish. I have coeliacs disease and the staff were so attentive and switched on but also really friendly without being overbearing. We will absolutely return and recommend to our friends and familt

4 hours with friends just flew by in such a convivial atmosphere. The food is delicious and so well presented and as for desserts - well, I love desserts so I love the Hopping Hare. Really cheerful and helpful service too on a very busy night. Thank you Maddie!

Four of us for a birthday meal. Excellent service and attention. The most delicious breads and oil for starters our olives did not come on time but we still ate them and they were not included in the bill,thankyou. The mains were well presented and top quality. The serving staff were all great.The wine was good too. No complaints ,we have been before and will certainly return. Thankyou Hopping Hare team.

Warm welcome followed by sumptuous afternoon tea. A wide variety of choice, all of it delicious. Extra drinks if wanted, and boxes available to take away what we were unable to eat.
