We had the stake and I can honestly say it was one of the best stakes I have ever tasted The atmosphere was lovely, calm and very friendly and the service was excellent as was the value for money.

We went to lunch yesterday and there were 6 of us. We had such a lovely time as the waiting staff were wonderful and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome , checking were we ok for drinks or did we need anything else. The atmosphere of the place was lovely. Always clean and tidy and friendly staff. Would highly recommend.

The staff from the very start of the booking to the end of service could not have been more amazing. The booking was for a large group for a cheese & wine evening. The cheeseboard was decorated beautifully and the chef even accommodated two extra boards when two more attendees joined then planed. Rosie who worked on the booking was fantastic and when the requirements changed she kindly did all she could to assist. A huge thank you to all the staff involved. I could not recommend this restaurant enough!

This the 4th time that we have had lunch at the Hopping Hare. We meet friends from St Albans and we are from the Midlands so they were recommended by a friend as a good halfway meeting point for us. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful, the staff are always lovely and the food is always fantastic. We are already looking at booking for our Christmas get together and very much looking forward. Would 100% recommend it as a place to visit

We had our 2nd family reunion in four years involving UK and USA relatives at The Hopping Hare and both times had a lovely experience. The restaurant goes out of its way to make sure that everything is perfect from start to end. The menu is exciting and quite different from others we saw while in the UK, the food is wonderfully presented, and all meals were delicious. The servers knew what to recommend for food and beverage - and didn't disappoint. Our reunion couldn't have been better. Thanks to everyone from the bottom of our hearts!

Enjoyable lunch. We chose to sit outside in the lovely garden area which is well equipped with plenty of tables. Lovely friendly, attentive and accommodating staff. Delicious food and good value for money. Would definitely recommend.

Wow I visited the Hopping Hare with a large group of friends and had the most amazing experience. The staff where brilliant - nothing was too much trouble - Fantastic Service - The food was delicious - everything looked and tasted great. Our drinks where served to the same high standard and a great range for everyone in our group from Poretti, San Miguel to Hobgoblin Session IPA - even San Miguel 0,0 for the drivers of our group. Will definitely visit again. Thank You.
