Service excellent, food arrived quick and was delicious. But portion was far too big so a lot of waste. Maybe offering a smaller plate for customers. But overall excellent

Had my belated birthday meal at the Hopping Hare last Friday. Have been several times before and knew what to expect and wasn't disappointed. Excellent meal and service. Staff very friendly and approachable. Will certainly be visiting again.

Absolutely outstanding meal. I've been several times with friends and kept telling my husband how good it was. Having had the chance to go with him, he agreed and said it was the best meal he'd had out for ages. The flavours in all dishes were outstanding.

As usual the Hopping Hare was excellent in nearly every aspect! Both starters and meals were beautifully presented the only small thing was my wife’s mash with the Pheasant was lukewarm at best though the rest of the meal was piping hot! We very much enjoyed our visit as it’s not a place we can enjoy often! Was lovely to walk there and back though due to being not much more than 10 minutes walk! Our service was excellent from the whole team and we looked forward to returning some time!

An excellent meal, both Mains and Desserts where beautifully cooked and absoloutely delicious. Friendly service and a nice enviroment.

We had a visit to the theatre then a nights stay at the Hopping Hare. The evening meal and breakfast was exceptional plus the comfortable room. Staff were helpful and friendly and very professional. Highly recommended.

The food we were eventually served was only just warm the room was chilly and my broccoli had not seen the cooker although I dislike over cooked veg this was in fact raw Very disappointing as usually all is good
