The Admiral Nelson – DaventryAlways a go to , The food is great love the tasting menus on a Friday, service is fantastic, some of the best food in Northampton in my opinion
The Hopping Hare – NorthamptonThe food was very good and the service impeccable. The only slight downside was a very noisy group of people on the next table, but that was not the fault of the staff.
The Hopping Hare – NorthamptonThe best roast dinner! And great atmosphere too. We love the Admiral Nelson, and now its our local we’ll be visiting more often.
The Admiral Nelson – DaventryFood excellent £9 For a medium glass of wine is a little ott to say the least Will go again But no wine next time
The Hopping Hare – NorthamptonI took my grandson for breakfast, we were both very impressed. Great service and breakfast in a relaxed and comfortable environment
The Hopping Hare – NorthamptonWent in on 30th of September for a wedding anniversary afternoon tea with my wife and baby daughter. We had a magical few hours. The food, the service, the staff and the ambience were perfect. As good an,afternoon tea I've experienced and my wife and I have eaten at the finest hotels in London, Clariridges et al. We shall return! M
The Hopping Hare – NorthamptonWe had a table booked for 9pm and by 9.30 were the only people in the restaurant. Waitresses were extremely attentive and the food was perfect. It’s a really well kept, clean restaurant with lots of parking. Highly recommend.
The Hopping Hare – NorthamptonOur first time at Hopping Hill Restaurant. The food was excellent although we thought the lemonade was expensive. The staff were friendly and helpful. Close to home as well.
The Hopping Hare – NorthamptonStayed at Hooping Hare for a rugby match at nearby Saints. Food was superb. We were disappointed to find they had sold out of lamb as extremely busy but turned out to be a blessing in disguise as we had the best beef we have ever eaten in a restaurant! Everything was beautifully cooked, same for the breakfast the next morning. Would recommend this hotel and we will definitely be returning! The staff were very cheerful and welcoming too!
The Hopping Hare – NorthamptonWe have been visiting the Hopping Hare for many years, and have held many family milestone meals there. It is always great value for money, exceptional service and amazing food!! We will visit again soon, and I highly recommend.
The Hopping Hare – NorthamptonReally enjoyed the restaurant atmosphere, waitress service was excellent and food delicious. A little more expensive than we would normally pay but well worth it.
The Hopping Hare – NorthamptonAbsolutely top drawer food .. Sunday roast was delicious and served by very attentive staff. Would fully recommend..Thank you
The Hopping Hare – NorthamptonAbsolutely wonderful! This was our first visit to the Hopping Hare and the experience from start to finish was amazing. We were meeting up with family and had 3 children with us and the staff couldn't have been nicer. On top of that, the food was delicious and beautifully presented and the choices made a nice change from the usual pub menus. We will definitely be back despite it being the best part of 3 hours drive away. Next time we will just have to stay!!
The Hopping Hare – NorthamptonSunday last was our first visit to the Hopping Hare. We had an early booking which paid dividends, as the vegetables were perfectly cooked. Our dietary restrictions were catered for well. Would have been happy with smaller portions. Great atmosphere. We will definitely return. As more people arrived it became clear that there were many regulars.
The Hopping Hare – NorthamptonReally excellent Sunday lunch. The starter was an open ravioli which was delicious. The roast beef was beautifully pink and tender - I guess that it has been cooked sous vide . Portions are very generous with a great selection of vegetables. A very tasty gravy and a huge Yorkshire completed the plate. The staff are really helpful without being intrusive. A great choice of wines and non alcoholic drinks.
The Hopping Hare – NorthamptonGood choice of dishes, excellent food, and prompt and friendly service. A very enjoyable lunch. Thank you.
The Admiral Nelson – DaventryOne of the best meals I have had in very long time, Truly excellent.
