The Admiral Nelson – DaventryGreat food and great service Sunday lunch as normal was very good. Good portion size at a very good price. Overall a lovely spot to have a drink or meal right by the canal. Not our first visit and certainly won’t be our last.
The Admiral Nelson – DaventryFood and service was great .We don’t like eating toast dinners out as they are never very nice .The roast was delicious, hot and lovely vegetables ,tasty gravy Perfect
The Queens Arms Orlingbury – KetteringBest Sunday lunch we have had in ages. Roast Beef was fantastic
The Queens Arms Orlingbury – KetteringWe enjoyed our meal but felt that the portions were to big. Staff were attentive.
The Hopping Hare – NorthamptonGlorious food, the roast beef was amazing as always. I didn’t have a pudding but my dinner companions did, they loved them!
The Hopping Hare – NorthamptonWe went to the Queens Arms in Orlingbury for Sunday lunch. It was a lovely pub with very friendly service. The food (we both had the roast chicken) was excellent and very generous portions. We have been before and will certainly be going back.
The Queens Arms Orlingbury – KetteringThe restaurant is excellent and prepared to a high standard Staff are accommodating helpfull
The Hopping Hare – NorthamptonBooked for a friend's birthday on a Friday night . The atmosphere was great really busy but not rowdy . The staff were superb friendly approachable attentive and very efficient. The food was delicious and we were served quickly despite being busy. Thoroughly great night we will be back !!
The Admiral Nelson – DaventryA lovely clean pub, food was delicious perfectly cooked beef, roast potatoes could have been better as mushy and not crispy, dessert wasn’t to our liking, I would say maybe offering three different meats and to have a combination would have been a nice option, will definitely come back and try the regular menu
The Queens Arms Orlingbury – KetteringSuperb evening, lovely food, great staff!!

The Hopping Hare – NorthamptonSecond time in a month and had completely different choices . Starting with Pigeon breat then the Cornfed Chicken breast while my partner had Makeral starters with Duck . Fabulous meal all round and excellent service
The Hopping Hare – NorthamptonAs always great evening food wonderful and staff excellent my favourite place in the area
The Hopping Hare – NorthamptonExcellent food, beautifully presented, friendly staff, a great night out.
The Hopping Hare – NorthamptonWe had a lovely lunch here. The lunch menu was very reasonable and varied. We all had the Caesar salad. The chicken was extremely tender and plentiful. Service friendly and excellent.
The Hopping Hare – NorthamptonSpent one night here as part of our wedding anniversary. The room we had was very acceptable with a large double bed. We did find the taps a bit strange but maybe that is because we are more used to "traditional "taps! Similar problem with the shower. Our meal was very pleasant but definitely NOT up tp 2 Rosette (AA) standard. Although the website stated the a la carte menu shown was only "representative' what was offered was quite different if you wanted something other than steak/burgers/fish and chips. The goats cheese soufflé was good as was the pork loin but very disappointed that the only fish dish was battered c oc and chips. The service was speedy and the servers very pleasant. Breakfast was excellent and freshly cooked
