Lunch with friends on Saturday. Lovely food and excellent service. The menu offers plenty of choice. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

Always wanted to come try this place and decided to group book for a special occasion. Monday evening and it wasn't busy but the atmosphere was still lovely and staff very welcoming. I tried looking for a menu online prior to booking but it seems the menu changes regularly/seasonally so it wasn't until we were here did I get to see what was on offer. The food menu was not expansive but what was on offer was definitely carefully thought-out and creative. This isn't your standard pub fare but is a pleasing gastronomic eatery, we got to try dishes we wouldn't normally have - it's not often I get wowed by how cabbage is cooked and tastes! The dessert was simplistic but presented well and tasted excellent. We all positively commented on the food and will likely come back again. I highly recommend this place if you enjoy and appreciate good food!

Superb food and service

We came here for a celebratory lunch, and what a brilliant choice of venue. The food was outstanding and the staff are lovely. I could not have asked for or experienced anything better. We will be back

A welcoming pub to walk into. Service was enpointe from the word go. Plenty of time given to settle and be ready to order. Food was first class - fish and chips for two - plenty to eat and very tasty and the battered fish was light. Deserts were good and filling and sweet.

Amazing friendly service, the food was outstanding! I had the special lamp rump - and its hands down one of the best lamb dishes I've ever had! highly recommend x

My wife and I, together with her parents, went to the QA for dinner. The service, beer and food were all brilliant. My Father in Law & I had the lamb, which we both agreed, was absolutely awesome. The ladies also said their pie and chicken was excellent.

Visited The Hopping Hare for a roast on Sunday and it was delicious. The food was cooked to perfection. Great service as well. Very happy.

Always great food and great service too. It has a lovely atmosphere and I think its one of the nicest restaurants in Northampton. Went for Sunday lunch, first time in a few months, was perfect. Just enough.

Fantastic Sunday dinner Wonderful service

Excellent meal in great surroundings. Vegetables need a bit more cooking though. Staff really friendly and attentive. Chef came to speak with everyone. I'll be back.
