We hadn’t been to the Hopping Hare for a little while but, will certainly be go back soon. Great menu, superb meals and service. Good value too. First class

The welcome was warm and we were shown to our table immediately. The food was excellent, well presented and hot. The service was quick and everyone was very pleasant.

Booked for lunch which was very enjoyable. Very comfortable dining room and the food and service was excellent.

A Sunday pub lunch is always a great treat for the family ( 6 on this occasion)and our recent lunch at the Queens Arms more than delivered on our expectations. Attentive positive pleasant service. The meals were delicious with tender tasty beef and all the trimmings. Our 3 year old grandson “woofed” his large child’s portion down. The vegetarian option was also much appreciated. A very good selection of ales and other drinks. Tasty desserts too. Thank you !

Beautiful , tasty meal with lots of flavour! First class! ( we had the roast beef and it was the best sunday roast we have ever tasted!)

The food and service is exceptional at the Hopping Hare. Lovely informal dining space which doesn’t feel stuffy at all but with top quality food, presented beautifully. If you’re looking for basic pub grub, this is not the place to go. Expect something very special.

We had the stake and I can honestly say it was one of the best stakes I have ever tasted The atmosphere was lovely, calm and very friendly and the service was excellent as was the value for money.

First time dining at The Queens Arms even though it 10 mins from us, will definitely be returning. Very good food very friendly staff and reasonably priced. Thoroughly enjoyed.

We went to lunch yesterday and there were 6 of us. We had such a lovely time as the waiting staff were wonderful and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome , checking were we ok for drinks or did we need anything else. The atmosphere of the place was lovely. Always clean and tidy and friendly staff. Would highly recommend.

Very good Sunday Lunch, Roast Beef was excellent. Only negative comment would be my Wife's Gin and tonic had the tonic bottle poured in before being brought to table, which in our opinion you should not do.

The staff from the very start of the booking to the end of service could not have been more amazing. The booking was for a large group for a cheese & wine evening. The cheeseboard was decorated beautifully and the chef even accommodated two extra boards when two more attendees joined then planed. Rosie who worked on the booking was fantastic and when the requirements changed she kindly did all she could to assist. A huge thank you to all the staff involved. I could not recommend this restaurant enough!
