Lovely food , great staff

Delicious food, excellent service and great atmosphere. What's not to like?

We were staying at the Holiday Propert Bond site just down the road and went for a meal. The food was lovely and prompt service . The signature Apple dessert was amazing. Only criticism we were sat facing where the till is and the staff sit and wait for orders etc so was a bit close to all the comings and goings with the staff which was on open view. So did not help with atmosphere.

Staying at Lucker Hall and ate twice at The Apple Inn whilst there. Staff were lovely and attentive and we did not have to wait long for service. Food was delicious on both occasions with generous portions and good value for money. One little niggle was that on Sunday 2 of us ordered the roast lamb and the pub had run out of mint sauce! Will definitely eat here again when we come back to Lucker

The food was very good, I had the Lamb shank, but there was no mint sauce, which let it down slightly. My friends all had different dishes and they thought it very good too

We recently dined at the Apple Inn for my boyfriends birthday. We are not from the area and travelled to stay in the huts and have a weekend away. The Apple Inn did not disappoint! It was the cutest place we’ve been in a long time and as it is near Christmas, we felt like we were in a scene from The Holiday. The staff went above and beyond and constantly checked in with us. They even fussed our dog Alfie and put up banners for my boyfriends birthday which was just so thoughtful and showed us that the staff will go above and beyond to keep their guests happy. The food was delicious and the service of drinks and food was at an ideal pace. The staff were all super safe and I would definitely recommend. We will be returning!

First visit but was a fabulous meal, fantastic value for money and great service

We dined last Sunday after a great experience in December 2021. This visit was disappointing, just not the same standard of service or standard of food.

We have returned for the fifth time to the Stablewood cottages in Lucker and have eaten at the Apple Inn each evening and have been totally thrilled with every mouthful of the delicious food and service, cannot wait to revisit again soon

Dined here on 30th Nov as part of stop over on way home. I had the venison and my wife had the halibut. We followed up with the sticky toffee pudding and the signature apple respectively and can honestly say that it was one of the best meals we have had in a long time. The service and general ambience was excellent. The only (slight) downside was that the venu itself is lacking a little in 'coziness'. We had the best table right next to the log burner, but a change of lighting and perhaps table style in the large dining area could have made it feel more comfortable.

Ordered food but had to wait 50 mins till it came however it was very nice. We were asked if we wanted a pudding and were given a menu however no one returned to take our order so we paid our bill and left. Staff were very friendly but did not seem overly busy.

Our first visit was for a Sunday roast. Four of us plus dog. We were all looked after really well by friendly staff . Food was delicious and good sized portions. All so good two of us returned the next night and were equally pleased. Good beer as well. Thank you to everyone.

Breakfast was lovely. Had something for everyone from traditional to continental. My son also enjoyed the kids pancakes.

Couldn't have asked for more, big portions of home cooked delicious meals.

Very helpful staff and excellent food and service Sunday lunch good value You are welcome for just a drink if that’s all you need

Been meaning to try this restaurant for ages and so pleased I made the booking- the food was delicious and the staff very friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be making a return visit

What a Fab place for a Meal & few beers 10 of us really enjoyed our recent visit there everything was spoton deffo reccomend a visit Big Thanks too all that made us feel very welcomed.
