Good food excellent service though the portions are quite small even for me and I don’t eat large meals.

Absolutely delicious Sunday Lunch .. so fresh & home cooked.. We had the Turkey & it was cooked beautifully. Staff couldn’t be more friendly, so attentive & the dogs got a treat & lot of attention too

Totally agree with one of the previous reviewers . Good food good service but No Atmosphere . Needs some comfortable chairs and tables that don’t make it feel like a refectory. We were expecting a cosy country pub but we were disappointed. We were in and out in just over an hour the surroundings didn’t really make you feel like spending any longer .

I and my family are staying in Bamburgh for a week and we have now eaten twice at The Apple …. Lovely atmosphere, nice surroundings, good choice of drinks and local ales. The menu is a little limited but what we had (steak and Guineas pie, fish and chips) was very nice indeed, which is why we returned. Parking can be a problem but overall, very good experience and would recommend!

Had a lovely meal on Wednesday, 26 October 2022. The staff, food, service and cleanliness were excellent, especially the recommended chips! This was our first visit but it definitely won’t be our last.

Pleasant, bright modern decor, nice atmosphere and not cramped. Food excellent and huge portions. Service cheerful and prompt. Prices reasonable and average for the area.

I've walked past this place so many times and finally decided to take my girlfriend there for date night and it was perfect. Beautiful interior, amazing staff and the food was absolutely outstanding. I'll defiantly be going back here

I booked this as a package with Beau monde spa for my daughters birthday. We arrived at 6.50 didn’t receive starter till 7.40 a table of 12 arrived after us and was served straight away. Feel as though we was treated shabbily as all had been paid weeks before. Didn’t stay for dessert as by this time was 8.30 very disappointed.

Superb breakfast, fantastic service ,really friendly. Would definitely recommend.
