Staff and pub really nice, food ok without being anything special. Wife had the roast and said it was ‘nice’ but nothing more and myself and my daughter both had the burger which was over powered by the onion/gherkin which made it taste vinagery and soggy
Spinner and Bergamot – NorthwichExcellent meal. The new regime is a great success; we have visited 3 times since the change of management. Staff universally lovely, food good, generous and tasty. Yhey do a comparatively limited menu with skill. In fact my only concern is that the menu is a bit restrictive if we are going to become regulars, but maybe they will change it at intervals - here is hoping.

The Plough at Whitegate – NorthwichVery disappointed. We had a beef Sunday roast and the meat was incredibly tough. My husband’s beef was also very very fatty and he was unable to eat it. Very pleasant staff and service was good though and we did get a reduction on the meal. The desserts were good.

The Plough at Whitegate – NorthwichThe waitress was wonderful but unfortunately more than once she had to come & tell us that items we had ordered were unavailable, 30 minutes after opening there were no chicken burgers, fish of the day or decaf coffee left. It’s a lovely pub, the food we did get was excellent and we will try again in a few months in the hope things have settled down.
