The Spinner was a firm favourite of ours for many years but then it changed hands and we stopped going. We heard it was under new management and returned. The ambiance is again lovely, the staff pleasant and the food outstanding. We are so pleased to be back and delighted to see it so busy!
Spinner and Bergamot – NorthwichThis was our first trip to the Spinner and Bergamot and it did not disappoint. It’s a proper old school pub with small snug rooms filled with the welcoming hum of quiet conversation. The menu selection was quite small but varied - ideal if you find it hard to decide - and the food was cooked perfectly, piping hot and beautifully presented. Unfortunately I was driving but I did check out the hand pumps and there was plenty to choose from. The toilets were clean and lastly but most importantly, the service was friendly and efficient. 10/10

Although I didn't find the menu had many summer style options (varopus salad choices, lighter main meals) the food we ordered, Liver, bacon, mash potatoes with red wine gravy and Fish and Chips, both were delicious and filling. We were too full for desserts, bit would have liked a coffee, unfortunately the coffee machine was out of order, so we left a little earlier than we would have liked. The staff were friendly and pleasant. Good sized car park. The pub was very quiet for a Sunday evening at 7pm!
