Lovely food and nice staff
The Plough at Whitegate – NorthwichI am a roast dinner lover and can safely say I’ve found my favourite local Sunday roast by far! The staff were all really lovely and patient, and the atmosphere/decor was stunning. I was just gutted there was a shortage of cauliflower cheese, so will definitely need to return for that again soon!
The Plough at Whitegate – NorthwichExcellent food and bit quiet as it was Saturday lunch time.
The Plough at Whitegate – NorthwichExcellent food in a genuine traditional atmosphere, 100% reliable and definitely recommended

The Plough at Whitegate – NorthwichAnother fantastic meal at the plough, a 5 star Sunday roast , as always friendly staff . You won't be disappointed visiting here
The Plough at Whitegate – NorthwichWe visited several times and have had better experiences previously. My food was very good but my wife was disappointed with her steak pie. Although the pub was quiet when we visited, the service felt a bit fragmented and rushed. It hasn't put us off completely but it may be a while before we return as there are many other good pubs for lunches in the area
The Plough at Whitegate – NorthwichMy friend and I met for lunch. We both enjoyed our food choices and the service was warm and friendly and the atmosphere cosy. Just what we needed for our catchup. We are both non-meat eaters, so we would have preferred more options for vegetarian/pescatarian salads/poke bowls.
The Plough at Whitegate – NorthwichWhile visiting family in the area, I visited The Plough twice. On the first occasion we’d planned to go elsewhere but hadn’t booked , so on arrival they couldn’t accommodate our party. We then decided to try the Plough. On arrival it was busy but we were welcomed and without any fuss they placed tables together. so we could all sit together. Service was good and the food was too. There was a special offer on the day we visited which we all took advantage of. The second visit was three days later, with a different group. On this occasion I booked. I did find the booking system slightly confusing as the timings were in EET, so when I received the booking confirmation it was 2 hours ahead of the actual booking time. The visit was very pleasant though and we all enjoyed our meals . The pub is in a lovely situation with an large car park. I would definitely visit again when in the area.
The Plough at Whitegate – NorthwichHusband and I booked for a Friday night. Food was lovey, staff friendly and the fire nice and warm on a chilly night. But there were only 3 tables occupied. It's situated in a remote location but then again, it always as been. Just recently, business seems quiet.
The Plough at Whitegate – NorthwichGreat food. Good value for money as the portions were really generous. Extensive menu so a choice for all. Waiting on staff effcient and friendly. Will certainly be back.
The Plough at Whitegate – NorthwichVery nice food all staff seemed friendly and it was no problem for them to sort us a taxi out back to our campsite as we had no signal on our phones
The Plough at Whitegate – NorthwichFriendly staff and the food was lovely
The Plough at Whitegate – NorthwichNice food, good service
The Plough at Whitegate – NorthwichExcellent food as usual, but sorry the waits for drinks both for ordering and service were close to unacceptable and well below their normal standard
The Plough at Whitegate – NorthwichFood was good and the service was excellent.
The Plough at Whitegate – NorthwichWe've been going to the Plough for over 30 years, and it's always a real treat. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, the food is always first class, and we always come away absolutely stuffed. Best of all, it's only 10 minutes drive away for us. Our visit yesterday was to celebrate our wedding anniversary.
The Plough at Whitegate – NorthwichWe both had the fish pie washed down with a delicious Pinot…. staff friendly and attentive..
