My friend and I had our first meal at The Plough..it most certainly won't be our last! The staff were SO lovely.. And the food was simply amazing! Cooked to perfection! I am a fussy eater really, and through absolutely nobody's fault, I don't really have a lot of choices to choose from on menu's,but there were a number of meals I could have happily chosen, I was spoilt for choice. Thank you for an enjoyable evening.. See you again soon.

The Plough at Whitegate – NorthwichMyself and 3 other neighbours enjoyed a very pleasant evening at the Plough , Whitegate last Monday evening. We all had delicious home cooked meals. Two of us had the steak and ale pie, one had the salmon and another the chicken. Each entre satisfied our expectations and we would come again. The meat pie was tender and there was plenty of gravy. The atmosphere was welcoming, cosy and right for a lovely evening meal out. Staff were attentive in just the right way. The price was as expected .

The portion size was great, the selection of vegetables was amazing the most weve had whilst dinig out. The only real negative for the food was the meat was very chewy and stringy in parts (both the lamb and the beef) and the potted dick was very dry even drenched in custard. The sevrvice was hit and miss, the male server was very polite and good at his job. Our female server didint have the same skills. we felt very rushed and mot very welcome, i appreciate it was a busy day for them but we didnt get the service we thought we would.

We’ve now sampled the beef, pork and chicken roasts and they are all great. The Tiramisu is delicious. The prices are such good value and compare very favourably with other venues. Well done to Jackie and her team.

We haven't been on a Saturday night before, but all the staff were attentive and were able to service everyone in a timely manner. They also did it with smiles on their faces. There was a good atmosphere too. We enjoy coming to The Plough for lunch or evening meals for good quality food. We are looking forward to our next meal there.

The Plough at Whitegate – NorthwichWe were a party of 3 . 3 mains and 2 desserts . Cheese and onion pie was delicious. Gammon perfectly cooked and sides of chips were crispy and tasty . Lemon tart and biscoff cheesecake very tasty . Service prompt and servers friendly and helpful . Will be back .
