This was our first visit , booked for lunch , partly because of the reviews and the interesting menu. We chose the tapas fish menu and were not disappointed.The food was delicious , the octopus was so tender it nearly melted in the mouth. The squid , clams , vegetable croquettes were all of the same high standard . The wine selection was also interesting, we had a house selection green wine which perfectly complemented the food . The restaurant was full , lovely ambience and the service was really good too. A delightful experience. A definite for another visit.

What a lovely little restaurant. Food was great service was warm and friendly without constantly interrupting our meal. Very happy to have found this place and will definitely be coming back.

It was our first visit, we were bought a voucher for both of our birthdays. We both thoroughly enjoyed it! The food was very tasty as was the wine. We will definitely be back!

Great food, lovely staff ,a bit pricey , Ok for a special occasion

Wonderful Portuguese food! Chef went out of his way to serve the seafood cataplana on an unscheduled day. Truly appreciated this. Our dinner experience brought us back to Portugal! Order the Pink gin and tonic, cheers!

We have enjoyed the food and ambiance at Jorges a few times now - very pleased we found this gem and we look forward to dining there whenever we are in Norwich. - the food is always excellent and the staff friendly and knowledgeable.

Our second visit to this lovely, intimate restaurant. We love the ambiance and the meats are spectacular!

I can sum up our experiences (we have been a few time now) at Jorge’s in a few words. Don’t go anywhere else when in Norwich - you will miss out on the best meal you will ever have. It really is that good……

Great food , superb wine , terrific atmosphere and friendly staff ! One of our favourite restaurants and definitely the best steakhouse in Norwich .

Absolutely excellent ! Tastiest steaks we have all had in as long as we can ever remember. Also had a couple of puddings which were dreamy! Cannot wait to come back - with friends next time to enlighten them as to how good steak can be when you go out.

Our first meal at Jorge's was to celebrate my birthday and it could not have been more enjoyable. Cuisine and wine were truly outstanding and service was of the highest standard with allergies well catered for. We will be back.

We always have an excellent tapas in Jorge’s.The ribs and prawns and chicken wings are delicious . The staff there are so friendly and helpful we really recommend going there.

This is our 5th or 6th meal at Jorge's - that speaks for itself! As always the food was excellent. The small restaurant with just a handful of tables makes for a cosy, intimate atmosphere (though a cold wind did blow in every time the outer door was opened). It is not cheap but one has to pay for quality and exclusiveness and this is worth every penny of it. Well done Jorge and team.
