Fantastic food and lovely service. Really good.

Was so excited to visit this restaurant and the experience did not disappoint. Chatted to the owner and head chef and talked all things Sri Lankan. Being of Sri Lankan origin, I can say that the food is very authentic, but has been taken to a new level. A fabulous evening and we will become regular visitors. How about adding drumstick curry, pittu, thosai and rassam to the menu?

The first time we had food from Columbo Street was in 2019 at a street food fayre, followed by home deliveries during lockdown. Our 2nd visit here was as amazing as the 1st, highly recommended.

Super food; if your looking for a change and to excite your taste buds this is the place! Pleasantly surprised and the staff were just lovely.

What a find, having visited Sri Lanka twice we were very excited to see if Colombo street could deliver authentic food and boy did they! From arrival the service was impeccable, food delicious & Lion beer a happy reminder of fun times Highly recommended If you want something different from the ‘Indian’ and exceptional food you couldn’t choose a better option One not too miss

Excellent meal, would defo go again

We had a great meal, we both chose the coco chicken curry meal which was delicious. We’ll definitely be back to try the Kottu.

Absolutely amazing restaurant, the food was gorgeous and the service from the staff was excellent. A lovely atmosphere and the food is well priced, a table of four of us shared a variety of curries, rice and sides and it was plentiful with amazing flavours. Will definitely be returning!

Couldn't praise the experience enough! We had to have the meals and some of the foods explained to us, but the staff were very obliging. The food was absolutely superb and the staff were very friendly, polite and efficient. Great atmosphere also. We will definitely be visiting again soon.

Great meal and friendly service. I've worked in Sri Lanka and this was pretty accurate to Sri Lankan food - but toned down in heat a bit! With my two sons and they both liked it!

The food here is delicious - it's NOT AN INDIAN! Highly recommend the Kotti, unlike anything else I've ever eaten. The service was warm, friendly and knowledgeable too. Highly recommended.

My friend and I went to Colombo Street for the first time last night - everything was top quality, from the food to the service. I can’t wait to go back!

I visited Colombo street food a few months back and had a great experience food and service amazing . I visited last night for a birthday meal with my family and felt disappointed I don’t know if there was staff off sick but the service wasn’t great it was not attentive like our last visit. We had to keep calling staff over for drinks for cutlery for our mains and plates for starters. Our mains were served and my children’s food wasn’t served with ours and we waited another ten minutes before we asked again and then they came we were also missed two items that we ordered but due to the length of service and trying to get someone’s attention I gave up . We finished our meal waited twenty minutes for the plates to be cleared and by that point my children wanted to go home so we didn’t stay for dessert. The food was great but just wasn’t the experience I expected

We have loved finding Colombo Street's street food out and about, so were excited to try out the new restaurant and extended menu offer. Visited for a late lunch, and although the restaurant was a little quiet (to be expected at that time), the staff were great, really attentive and informative, and the food was absolutely spot on (my friends had the hopper platter and I had the kottu platter). You have to leave space for the chocolate biscuit pudding too! We can't wait to return to try some more!
