Dined on 19/10 table for 5 menu choice varied and special board good, I opted for the seafood platter.food arrived hot and looking good the octopus was a little chewy but delicious, the prawns and mussels excellent the calamari was tough but overall I enjoyed the meal and didn’t feel I needed to complain. Staff were friendly and efficient and the decor was clean and inviting. Other meals ordered were lamb shank chicken curry chicken breast in sauce and belly pork all excellent.

The food is delicious. The menu offers good choice a d it's clear they treat the ingredients with a lot of care and respect. My wife had the rib eye and the steak was cooked to her liking, medium rare, and there was no part which was overcooked. We will definitely comeback again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our meals last Saturday and would recommend the Queens Head for excellent quality and service.

Nine of us caught up here on Sunday, we had a mix of the Sunday roast, main menu and children's menu. All the food was fantastic and cooked really well, and the desserts where phenomenal. Roast perfectly cooked, great yorkshires and plentiful portions. Lots of choice on main and children's menu. It was super busy there were a couple of mistakes with our orders but these were rectified quickly and food was brilliant. Will be back !!

I have not been to the Queens Head for a few years. We went with a small group of 5. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The food was excellent and the service friendly.

We made a booking for two people for Sunday midday and enjoyed lovely Roast dinners followed by two different ice cream sundaes which were also very enjoyable. The staff were very welcoming and attentive. The pub is very popular and we were glad we pre-booked the table. We will definitely go to the Queens Head again when visiting the area.

Visited twice on successive nights. Service was good. A wide choice of food at reasonable prices. We have visited several times in the past whilst on holiday in the area. Definitely plan to return.

Super family meal at the weekend. Staff were very helpful and happy to adjust some of the mains. We weren’t too keen on the fish platter as much was deep fried but salmon in prawn sauce was amazing as was sticky toffee pudding. Overall we felt it was a very professional set up

Been for evening meal and lunch the following day, food perfect, service excellent with some really friendly staff that you could have a laugh with, beer kept really well, (real ale drinker)

We have been several times now (weekday lunchtime and for Sunday lunch) and every time the service is faultless, the staff are friendly and helpful and the food is hot and delicious- reasonable price to! Will definitely be back again! One minor negative, the conservatory can get noisy, though no issues with the main part of the pub.

We had a really great meal. There were 8 of us, lots of different dishes. All arrived hot , beautifully presented and delicious. Service we quick and efficient. Thank you for a really great evening.
