Really lovely meal with attentive staff and a nice setting. Plenty of parking. Super helpful staff. The internet had gone down that evening so could not pay by card so they arranged to call me next day and paid over the phone when service was resumed.
The Queens Head – OswestryWe had a lovely meal at Queens Head, very tasty and the service was excellent.
The Queens Head – OswestryWe came here for Sunday lunch in the middle of the heatwave with friends who were visiting us for the weekend. The conservatory was cool with good air conditioning on. My friend couldn't get over the menu and choice. She opted for the sea food platter and was not disappointed at all. The food portions were plentiful, nicely presented and staff attentive. Will be back very soon. Thank you
The Queens Head – OswestryHaving travelled in from the canal opposite, it was a delight to see the mass gluten free options haven't been a coeliac for the last 14 years are not once finding a place to eat so accommodating and welcoming. Having finished our meals and having some left we were thinking that we would have to leave some behind but luckily we were glad to see that take away boxes were on offer so we made full advantage of it and took it back to our boat ready for breakfast the following morning. Would fully recommend to any coeliacs in the local area or to travel in and will be posting the review on an official coeliac charity website to spread more awareness of the amazing options! Will definitely be back if returning to the area.
The Queens Head – OswestryLoverly place to eat staff were very prompt, Good variety of food to choose from on the menu would highly recommend a visit would definitely eat here again .
The Queens Head – OswestrySecond time for me at this lovely, welcoming restaurant. I really like the way the rooms are light, airy and spacious yet it retains a very "cozy pub" atmosphere. Staff are friendly, helpful and efficient. Menu is extensive with extra daily specials. The problem is trying to choose! My coeliac friend's needs were respected and catered for with a good range of gluten-free options. Everything was beautifully prepared and delicious. Good parking, some nice views, and close to the canal for a quick walk afterwards.
The Queens Head – OswestryLovely meal as always.

The Queens Head – OswestryWent for food on a Friday afternoon and was not disappointed. We both had steaks I had a ribeye and my husband had a rump. By the time we’re delicious and cooked perfectly. We’ve never had a bad meal here. Been coming for years
The Queens Head – OswestryReally nice food again for the second time staff are so helpful
The Queens Head – OswestryLovely evening meal, friendly staff food was delicious and well prepared didn’t have to wait long either. Good value for money. Would recommend to family and friends
The Queens Head – OswestryThis is our 5th Visit to the Queens Head. Every visit the food is a high quality, fresh and cooked to perfection. I've had different dishes off the menu the Belly Pork, The poached Hake and the creamy crab risotto. Every one is a delight and they were faultless. Now I have a sweet tooth, so the desserts get a lot of attention. Ive sampled the Belgian Waffle with honeycomb ice cream which was a delight but the new edition I had this time round was the bakewell tart Cheese cake....a triumph! The bub itself is smart and homely you feel completely ease there and the staff compliment this with their friendly service making you feel a valued customer. I did think of giving 4 stars for the value for money however with the consistency of quality in the execution and presentation of the food dropping a star didn't feel right. It's the right amount of money for the right quantity and the level of quality. We'll be coming here for years to come. Thank you Queens Head.
The Queens Head – OswestryHad a fabulous time on our recent visit which was Fathers Day. We are regular visitors and we are never disappointed with the food . It’s just very consistent and generous portions I really can’t fault it. The waiting staff deserve a mention because nothing was too much trouble they looked after my elderly parents with such kindness. I’d definitely recommend.
The Queens Head – OswestryWhat more can you say - lunch on Father's Day was up to the usual high standard despite being very busy. Thank you.
The Queens Head – OswestryHadn’t been here for about 4 years, so thought we’d give it a try again. We had a group of 5 and were given a round table which was ideal. The staff were polite and friendly. Our orders all came out together, not too long of a wait. Food was hot and well presented, any additional condiments were provided. All 5 of us enjoyed what we had, no room for dessert. I’d definitely go again.
The Queens Head – OswestryOn Thursday 12th June my wife and I enjoyed our first visit to The Queenshead at Oswestry. Lovely food, excellent beers served well by friendly and enthusiastic staff. A very good evening all round.
