Great evening - fab food , freshly cooked and well presented. Friendly personal staff who negotiated gluten free with ease.

Had a beautiful roast dinner yesterday with 5 of my girlfriends, beef was gorgeous, as we're the roasties, Yorkshire pudding, veg etc, daupinose potatoes where scrumptious, staff very attentive, great service. Would defintely recommend The Queens Head.

Great choice for Sunday lunch. Food was really great. First impressions outside could be better, furniture is a bit scruffy & would benefit from painting. Maybe even some nice plants. Member of staff behind the bar and serving was slightly abrupt. Bit sharp. Enjoted our meal very much though so Thank-you. .

Came for Sunday lunch with friends, after reading reviews. The food did not disappoint and we found it all reasonable. Service was good. We ate in a lovely conservatory, which was a bit noisy when another party joined. Whole venue was busy with a nice atmosphere. If we were in the area , we would happily come back to enjoy their fare. I booked a table for six in the conservatory to celebrate my wife’s birthday. We found that it was quite noisy, so the staff were excellent in finding us another table, which was very nice. We all found the food top class, and will be back again. Thanks again for the very attentive staff.

Friday's lunchtime visit was our first to the Queens Head. We met up with friends from Worcestershire. All four of us were impressed by the prompt and friendly service, but especially the food. We couldn't fault anything.

Superb Sunday lunch, great value for money and very very tasty. Staff are very efficient and friendly too, will be going back again and would highly recommend - however the amount of customers arriving for Borge lunch and drinks speaks for itself,

Lovely site close to the canal with a comfortable conservatory. Excellent menu all food well cooked and fresh. Also all the staff were great and helped make the meal with our friends so special.

We met 3 other couples here for a late lunch. Everyone enjoyed their food and the service was friendly and professional. This was our second visit and both times it’s been all you could ask for with regard to quality, service and value. All our party loved it…. We would definitely recommend. Thank you and well done to all at the Queens Head.

Very good food and plenty of choice. Service was a bit slow towards the end of the meal - deserts,coffee etc. That being said the staff were very friendly and cheerful
