Best sunday lunch , each time we dine at the Queens head it is always excellent , with good food , good service the beautiful atmosphere and surroundings It is a gem and is consistently perfect .

From booking a table online to to the last bite was absolutely amazing . An undiscovered gem in North shropshire , if you want lovely food and friendly staff set in a beautiful location, this is the one . I had ribeye and it was cooked to perfection . My girlfriend had Paella which was fresh and was so tasty , it arrived like it was put together with care and passion for food . Seriously worth a visit . And set next to a canal with lovely walks . Well done to everyone that works there . Could not fault it . Will be back thank you for a lovely time guys !

We are lucky to have this pub as one of our locals. We've never had a bad meal here. The staff are longstanding and all friendly and it's nice that they include the kids in their conversations to make them feel included. Never had any issues, food is always lovely. A lovely family pub.

I took my family and a friend that has just welcomed a new born baby in for Sunday Lunch. I put a request in for plenty of room around the table for the buggy and we got this! The staff were very welcoming and kind as they showed us to our table. Food came promptly and was 10/10. Cannot fault the experience.

No problems booking online...time we wanted Sunday lunch. Prompt service on arrival...shown to table. Drinks ordered ..perused menu...I chose beef Sunday roast...friend chicken breast...plenty veg gravy...superb meal...puddings went down a treat aswell....couldn't fault our lunch...Will return.

Had a very good meal on Friday 2nd January after a walk along the Montgomery Canal. The menu was different from the usual fare offered by a lot of pubs nowadays and was presented nicely. My enchiladas were nicely spicy and were clearly homemade, and were accompanied with a decent salad and ( unnecessary) chips; there was already plenty of carbs on the plate. My wife’s chicken burger was perfectly cooked and had good sides. All were courteously served and were decent value for money.
