Had a delicious Sunday roast for 5, including 1 with complicated allergies. We all enjoyed the food and excellent service
The Abingdon Arms – OxfordSunday lunch here is incredible with no elements of compromise or disappointment. Incredible roast vegetables with flavour and individual touches. The gravey excellent and deep. The roast potatoes as you would want and the Yorkshire pudding doesn't taste of wall insulation! My point Sunday lunch here is incredibly crafted with care. Atmosphere always great as this is a genuine country pub with history in its walls set in a wonderful setting. My favourite Sunday lunch venue by far in Oxfordshire.
The Abingdon Arms – OxfordGreat food, good service
The Abingdon Arms – OxfordWonderful Boxing Day lunch. The staff coped brilliantly with complicated requests with great good humour. Loved the pheasant and goose. Chilled and festive.
The Abingdon Arms – OxfordFriendly, welcoming. Clearly busy as Christmas Eve. Excellent food and drink, though felt the portions could have been more generous given they were mains.
The Abingdon Arms – OxfordFirst class lunch. It is always a pleasure to go to a pub that offers unusual dishes and not just the usual burger or fish and chips. My mushroom fricasee on toast as a starter and the cottage pie with plenty of greens were excellent. The others in our party also really enjoyed their pheasant.
The Abingdon Arms – OxfordThank you for a well serviced and managed funeral tea. The atmosphere was very convivial and enjoyed by all. Please let's have more pubs like this.
The Abingdon Arms – OxfordHighly recommend. Cosy, beautiful pub. Delicious roast!
The Abingdon Arms – OxfordCame here for Sunday lunch. A real fire and twinkling fairy lights ensured a cosy, welcoming atmosphere and they have a beautiful Christmas tree. Food was excellent: several of us enjoyed a very generous portion of roast beef done perfectly (slightly pink), an ocean of gravy and crispy (but not too crispy) Yorkshire pud with trimmings. A couple of us ordered the chicken, turkey and ham pie with melt in the mouth pastry, topped with baby greens. Really tasty.
The Abingdon Arms – OxfordEverything was lovely would high recommend
The Abingdon Arms – OxfordA really enjoyable meal for two with good service in spite of the pub being crowded. one of us had fish and chips and enjoyed it but thought the fish was a little bit small.
The Abingdon Arms – OxfordGreat food & warm welcome, kindly fitting us in at short notice.

The Abingdon Arms – OxfordLovely, warm atmosphere and great service. Pizza and drinks were great too, would recommend stopping in here.
The Abingdon Arms – OxfordMy wife and I had a meal on the pub's pizza evening (Wednesday). At first I thought the prices were a little high until our pizzas were served! They were quite sizeable and the toppings were very imaginative, tasty and satisfying. The thin crust was baked to perfection. The atmosphere in the pub was lively without being noisy, and the service was good. We will be returning for another pizza!
