We made our reservation months ago, and the day before we received an email confirmation for our September 2025 date. We showed up near 6 and the place was dark, and a sign on the front said 'Tavern Closed, R.I.P.' It is not easy to get a table in Marazion, so this was beyond disappointing, ended up eating outdoors on a chilly night. So my advice is to look at what other places this outfit owns and avoid them, as they clearly don't care about customer service. The cherry on the top was receiving this request to review our visit. Absentee landlords.

Booked a table for dinner for 5.30pm, booked this online an hour prior as we had no phone signal to call. Had email confirmation of our table and even recieved an email today asking us to review our visit. When we turned up for our table, we found a very empty pub, one lady behind the bar who asked if she can help, we said we had a table reserved for dinner and her response was "the kitchen is closed, there is no chef as they keep calling in sick, and only found out at 4pm", so I pointed out that I booked online at 4.30pm so they should probably shut off the online booking system, I got a shoulder shrug in response. We left promptly, it was very frustrating as we drove there, got two little ones out the car and then had to try figure out where to go instead. Personally would not bother going back or would not recommend to anyone just turning up, do call and ask for clarification that you can actually dine there.

Our Sunday Roast was top class, the Yorkshire Pudding was the best pub Yorkshire I’ve ever tasted in the Uk; don’t know what magic ingredients were in them but I’ve got to get that recepie .

Nice friendly pub which we found by chance. Two of us had the fish and chips here on Tuesday night, and agreed it was the best fish and chips we had ever had.

Excellent food. Slightly chaotic service as very busy. Would happily return though.

Service was great, and it being dog friendly definitely sold it for us. Whilst the service was great and the food was lovely, we were dissatisfied and disappointed with the portion size of the ‘trimmings’ that came with the roast dinners. We have 4 roasts, but the sides were not appropriate for a table of 3 adults and a 13 year old. We did ask for more but were met with a no. Other than that, the food was great, but to avoid customer disappointment, i’d make it clearer to customers that portions are fixed, and come as a sharing platter. Staff did check in whilst eating and after.

Booked Sunday lunch for 5 for first day of our weeks holiday. Best Sunday lunch we’ve eaten out for some time. Lovely quaint surroundings, friendly staff and most importantly the food was fresh, homemade and delicious. Cauliflower cheese fantastic! Would definitely recommend.

Sunday lunch yesterday. Not as generous on portions as we have had in the past, particularly the meat, but very tasty. Granddaughter enjoyed her burger and chips. Didn’t really see the staff again before leaving to check if food was okay or ask if we wanted puddings so not as good as previous visits.

Fab pub. A proper pub which hasn't gone down the route of gastropub and gentrification. We had the Friday curry special which was excellent. Good size and a small beer thrown in for just £15. Lots of locals in there enjoying birthday celebrations which is always a good sign. Highly recommended if you want a traditional, welcoming Cornish (sorry.... English) pub.

Staying at the campsite about 10 minutes walk away, so booked a table for Sunday lunchtime, I had Turkey roast, wife had Beef …. Both excellent , we had our dog with us which they said was ok. The meal arrived very quickly and was hot, very friendly locals in there, I would advise booking in advance, which we have done for the following Sunday.

Delicious Sunday Roast with quick and friendly service, price was very reasonable and portion sizes were generous! Pub has a cosy atmosphere.

We often enjoy supper at the White Hart and have found the food to be consistently reliable. Last time we went we enjoyed the curry deal with friends and it was superb. The fish and chips are always great and we love that the menu offers good quality pub food.

I would love to write a review, but sadly on arrival for our booked meal,we found The White Hart to be shut. Very strange as we had confirmation of our booking and a reminder the day before! Very embarrassing as we were meeting a friend for lunch.

We’re local and have never had a bad meal here. The steak we had last night was fabulous! Will continue to be a firm favourite.. Great food and friendly service.

If only the landlord had checked his coal supply earlier, we could have had the wood burner going. Sadly this was not the case. So despite good service, lovely lunch and great drinks, we could not stay for dessert or more drinks as it was uncomfortablly cold. Especially with a seat in the window. A great shame in this occasion. We will be back in the summer, and/or when the fire is on.
