Lovely food and atmosphere and very friendly staff! We had a lovely time and will definitely be returning. One small point was that the cutlery provided was not at the same standard as the food (my partners observation) but would not prevent us coming back!

Lovely place with such a warm welcome and loved the choice of three veggie/vegan options to choose from. Red pepper wellington was lovely and the fries yum! Dessert was to die for and I had to fight off my partner who kept trying to steal some. Overall a lovely evening and food.

Excellent service from staff, food cooked beyond perfection and a very pleasant ambiance this is, in our experience the best restaurant in the area. It is not cheap but quality costs. We would love to visit more often, unfortunately we live over 200kms away but we will be back. Recommend reservations especially at weekends.

Y Sgwar – PorthmadogWe visited Y Sgwar for supper. the weather was awful but the restaurant was very warm and welcoming. It was pleasantly busy but we did not feel rushed at all. food choice was good. The sea bass and veal were lovely and the apple crumble was also delicious. We'll be back.
