A vibrant restaurant serving delicious food. Service was excellent.

Our second visit to Y Sgwar was every bit as delightful and memorable as our first. The welcome was as warm as we remembered, and the food was almost too beautiful to eat, each dish presented like a genuine work of art. But taste it we did, and we were rewarded with a wonderful array of flavours that made for pure dining delight. We'll be back for a third visit before long!

Enjoyed an excellent family meal here earlier this week. All of us very pleased with our choices, very tasty and well cooked. Busy bustling atmosphere during the early evening service and staff were friendly and attentive throughout. Worked out about £55 per head including pre-dinner drinks and a bottle of wine - reflecting the quality of the food and overall experience. We'll be back soon!

We had a lovely meal and the 4 of us thought the whole experience of dining at Y Sgwar was exceptional. I had the French onion soup which was a special on the starters and it was delicious. Three of us had lamb rump and it was superb The atmosphere was tremendous all down to the lovely staff all of whom were so friendly and helpful. We had the best of times and will be back very soon Definitely one of the best places to eat out in Eifionydd and very reasonable price wise Thanks all for a great evening

A great place to go with friends. Friendly, professional service and well cooked and presented food, which tasted delicious. Good choices on the menu- my partner likes plain food but I like something a bit different. Tempura prawns with mango and chilli followed by sea bass with very tasty seafood sauce. Excellent.
