Excellent food and service as usual - never disappointed when we dine here!

Certainly, the food was lovely and obviously prepared with care. Decorea bit brandy gray for my taste but the stone wall features are beautiful. Service was polite and welcoming - until we asked for the bill. Tables were cleared, new diners seated - still no sign of the bill. Eventually my husband approached the desk in pursuit. Just as well it was him and not me, because I'd have left no tip!

Could not find fault with anything. Food and service were excellent.

Celebrated our wedding anniversary at the lovely restaurant. We didn’t know where to go as we were on holiday. But very pleased to be recommended to try Y Sgwâr. The staff, the atmosphere, the food were all excellent. Really enjoyed!

We have been dining at this restaurant for many years now and have often brought friends and family. It never disappoints. We have never had a bad meal. The food, service, quality and staff are first class. There is a great attention to detail and the last refurbishment gives a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere. Cannot fault. It takes hard work to achieve such a high standard. Well done to the owners and the team.

We had an excellent family meal. The food and service was excellent. We have eaten here on several occasions and it never disappoints. Wewill be back.

Stunning main courses. My partner had the lamb, I had the fish. Excellent, efficient and very pleasant staff. Lovely establishment.

We had an enjoyable Sunday lunch here; the restaurant is a nice place to sit and eat, and the wait staff are all very friendly and welcoming. The range of options is very good for meat-eaters and the portions are good. It is a really pleasant place to eat and there is also plenty of parking in a lovely setting. Our only comment would be that the options for vegetarians could be developed further, and the depth of flavour increased somewhat.

Our third visit to this restaurant. We went for the early bird menu, booked a table and arrived at 1715hrs to give us plenty of time to enjoy our meal. The website said that we may be asked to vacate the table at 1915hrs if needed. Having just finished our meal we were immediately asked to vacate our table at 1855hrs whilst we were still finishing our drinks. We were told we could sit in 'the lounge' to finish them, however this room was standing room only. The food was OK, but we felt rushed and an inconvenience. Not sure we would return.

We visited Tremadog for a few days and after reading the reviews we decided to book a table. We could not fault the service and the food was delicious. The restaurant had a nice friendly ambience and we would certainly go there again if we are in the vicinity. It's understandably a very popular restaurant.

We had an excellent meal. Sea bass with sauce with mussels was delicious and The Hale was excellent as well. Puddings were especially good- chocolate brownie, cheesecake and sticky toffee pudding were all really good. Service was friendly and efficient. Will definitely be back.

Absolutely superb. Starters of Liver Page and Pete had the King Prawns. Jake Fish made so tasty for mains and White chocolate and Jasmine cheesecake for desert....staff were excellent and atmosphere relaxed and not rushed xxxx

Had 2 meals on consecutive nights. Good choice of meals well presented and tasteful . Pleasant staff and attentive. Recommended
