always excellent food and service. The decor is a bit dated and wouldn't go here for a romantic meal for 2 but for a curry on the way home after a few beers this is definitely the best curry house in Preston city centre
Spice Of Bengal – Preston
Preston in Lancashire is a cosmopolitan city located on the River Ribble and is also the home of the University of Central Lancashire (UCLAN). Many restaurants and food pubs can be found in the city centre and its suburbs.

Spice Of Bengal – PrestonI visited this place on a Sunday evening, - Wasn't sure what to expect. When we got inside I was so impressed! The rural location, the design of the building the restaurant was situated, the architecture inside and out was beautiful! Staff were friendly, polite and attentive. Food was out of this world!!! Really competes with the big rollers situated in the city centre, very impressed! I live 40 mins away from this restaurant, but WILL be making a journey back ! Recommend to anyone wanting a quality dining experience that is child friendly too! It must be even better in the peak of summer with the glass extension at the front of the restaurant! Keep up the good work xx
Italian Orchard – PrestonDon't go to Bukhara expecting the usual Beer and curry night. They dont sell alcohol for a start. No big deal really when you consider the quality of food is fantastic. I'm a real foodie and have been several times and loved it every time. Originally recommended by an Indian friend, Bhukara tends to make more authentic Indian dishes. I guess the fact that the restaurant is usually largely populated by Indian families, points to the fact that they serve REAL Indian food. Trust me, try it and you'll never quite see the local Indian takeaway in the same light again. I would recommend their signature mango salad (spicy!) and try some Mango Lassi to boot. Mmmm, makes me want to have a curry just thinking about it.
Bukhara – PrestonBeen to lots of Italian restaurants and this is one of the best. We went on a Saturday night and had a table booked for 8.45pm and had to wait half an hour but it wasn't a problem as the bar area is lovely - really comfy sofas and a good atmosphere. Very busy but the service was excellent. I had octopus salad to start and pasta for main and both were excellent. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and will go back very soon. Beats Tiggis and Angelos by far. Menu was varied and lots of specials on offer. Price was average for an Italian, some people may say a bit on the expensive side but it was well worth it.
Tinos – PrestonAlthough the food was good, there wasn't much choice for soft drinks. I would say it's a place to go once. I expected a proper Thai restaurant but the place looked more like a English tea house.
Thai Orchid The – PrestonJust amazing. Fantastic food, helpful staff and lovely family atmosphere. Go - now!!!
Tinos – PrestonWe love this place! All u can eat for 1 price! Food always very good. Would Recommend!
Buffet@Preston – PrestonThe food, atmosphere and quality is second to none. The staff are very good the manager is rather dishy and very attentive. Well he is Italian!!!
Tiggis Pizzeria – PrestonThis is Indian cuisine at its best. The food is fresh and light. We are slowly working through the extensive menu and everything is wonderful. The breads are highly recommended as are the fish dishes. The introduction of a fine wine selection has made this restaurant even better and the service is attentive and confident, but very unobtrusive. This allows you to relax and enjoy an intimate evening. Don't waste your money at Heathcotes etc. Here you can have higher quality food and better wine for a much smaller price.
Barton Bangla Brasserie – PrestonAlways a great meal, Fantastic selection on the special boards, and you never have to wait to long for your food, good wine list. Very cosy interior and friendly staff, I was very happy to find they had opened another restaurant closer to us (The Beaumont in Clayto-le-woods) , the only draw back is the prices are higher for both food and drink at the sister restaurant which i find a little strange as the menu's are identical and the restaurant's are not much more than 1 mile apart!
Hospital Inn – PrestonWhat has happened the food is still outstanding but the last two times i have visited the place is totally dead, far more staff than customers. It's very sad to see this happen to a fantastic restaurant.
Sagar Premier – PrestonAbsolutely brilliant food, i am actually in the process of ringing them up to book a table and came across this website for their telephone number. The leg of lamb was beautifully presented with the potatoes, gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous food!!!
Bukhara – PrestonWe had a great night here, the food was excellent! not a moan or even a mumble from any member of our party, there were eight of us and we all had different dishes, each and every dish was really, really good, very nicely presented and very delicious. The Lemon Meringue Pie is scrumptious!(as well as everything else..) The place itself is very clean and has a nice cool, calm ambience, very relaxing, the staff are nice and friendly too, we are looking forward to our next visit.
Huntleys – PrestonLove this place.. the food is great, the staff are warm and friendly and the atmosphere is fantastic.
Nellie The Elephant – PrestonWent last week for first time after recommendation. Will return soon food was excellent well served and good value. Ambience excellent
Smiths Arms – PrestonExcellent variety & quality of food for veggies & carnivores alike, and the service was fantastic - didn't want to rush you like some restaurants, but equally didn't make you wait to be served either. There is a take away service as well and the standard is just as good! Would definitely recommend eating here.
Barton Bangla Brasserie – PrestonEaten nice chicken after long time .. Keep it up . Try dixi Hot Wing with bbq ....
Dixi Plus – PrestonAlways good food matched with good service. Can get busy but then thats what success does for you!
