Preston in Lancashire is a cosmopolitan city located on the River Ribble and is also the home of the University of Central Lancashire (UCLAN). Many restaurants and food pubs can be found in the city centre and its suburbs.
Visited with family on Sunday and had a delicious lunch as always. The Sunday roasts are great and the service was excellent. The repaint looks fab too. Would recommend if you want good food in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere and beautiful location

The Plough At Eaves – PrestonFirst time visiting yesterday for all 4 of us. We all ordered the avocado on toasted sourdough, absolutely delicious, well presented and service was amazing. We will be back, lovely place. Just a shame we could have had the table a little longer!
Bread and Butter – PrestonHad a lovely afternoon tea at The Barn (Courtyard) The little starter was lovely and then we waded through the lovely sandwiches and fresh made cakes. Nearly finished it all but had to take some home. Really excellent value for money. Staff lovely. Will certainly be going again.

Will be returning ,so impressed we all took a rewards cards. Will try Afternoon Tea next time. Well done team !
Bread and Butter – PrestonHad Sunday lunch the beef, beautifully cooked and presented plus it was hot ! Gave us small but complimentary soup whilst we were waiting which was a nice touch. Place is done out very well. Service was excellent Gave 4/5 for atmosphere as it was quiet , a bit surprised as everything high quality. Would definitely return.
The Plough At Eaves – PrestonWe came to bread and butter on Saturday night after it being recommended to us. The food was very very average and the service was also average. There was nobody at all else in but we felt rushed and was asked ‘can I take any plates’ whilst we were still grazing (tapas) and it wasn’t as if any of the plates were in the way etc It’s nice to see the kitchen but I didn’t appreciate listening to the chefs chatting loudly and swearing whilst we were with my toddler. There was also different music in the kitchen to the restaurant which was overstimulating!
