Had lunch with friends from out of town on Saturday. We had a great afternoon loved the food and service. Friends were impressed and said they would like to come back soon. We definitely will.

Had a very enjoyable evening at this restaurant food was excellent and although we had to wait a little while for our table to become available the staff were very friendly and helpful and our order was served quite quickly lovely atmosphere and have used this restaurant pre refurb for many years so obviously will be returning again. Can recommend highly.

Lovely food at the Whitchaff - however i do feel the drinks are a little overpriced. £10.20 for a large white wine?

Excellent meal as usual. Four of us went to the Whitchaff on a Friday evening, great meal, friendly staff, lots of drink choice.

Varied menu, friendly and attentive staff. Beautiful surroundings and amazing food. Also great value for money.

Had a meal Sunday night & as usual we weren't disappointed. The food & service was second to none with plenty of choice. Our waiter was very polite & the surroundings were great. Busy pub & everyone seemed to be enjoying the experience. We regularly visit & will return.

The food at this Restaurant was amazing, very hot and very tasty Steak was one of the best I have had Service was great Great atmosphere will definitely eat here again in the ear future

Visit 4 July and had a lovely meal. The pavlova dessert delicious! Have been several times before and the food is consistently very good.

Excellent night - good, varied menu selection, attentive staff but not pushy, all variation requests adhered to, and quick service. Friends from Essex and thought the prices reasonable and loved their choices

4th time here. I've brought both family and friends. Thoroughly enjoyed the delicious homemade meals. I had fish, chips and mushy peas. The fish was so fresh it just flaked away. 100% would recommend The Whitchaff. The staff were so friendly and attentive. Thank you so much. Xx
