Absolutely wonderful meal on a friday lunch! Fab service and lovely atmosphere - will be going again soon

Great food and exceptional service from the girls, very professional and attentive. Although extremely busy, we didn’t feel rushed and did not have to wait an age between sittings. Good value for the size of portions . Only had a starter and main, couldn’t manage a pudding but would of been happy to take away if the option was available.

Met a friend for tea on Wednesday. Great atmosphere, food and service. Would definitely recommend.

As usual the food was perfect! Had the steak and Stilton pie from the specials and it didn’t disappoint! Staff welcoming and friendly. Looking forward to coming back!

We had lunch at The Whitchaff yesterday, the food was delicious, everything about the place is superb.

We went for lunch. Decided on the small plates so we had four between two and it’s was perfect. Such lovely food. All presented well and we really enjoyed it. Can’t wait to go back. Think I’d order the same!! Service very good and good atmosphere.

Last minute booking on a Saturday night, the bar was rammed! Staff were really accommodating and food was excellent. We’ll definitely be back.

Went with friends the staff were absolutely amazing couldn’t do enough for us and the meal was fabulous. Would definitely go again.

We visited with 2 of our grandchildren. The staff were very attentive and immediately took our drinks order, while we viewed the menu. The 2 children wanted sausage and mash, but it wasn't on the menu. When the staff returned, I asked if we could have the adults sausage and mash, but split across 2 plates. Immediately he said they could do 2 sausage and mash for children, it would be no issue. The food was hot and tasty. Great decor, great food and great staff. Would highly recommend.

Great food, lovely staff. To be accommodated at the last minute was very nice . Thank you. For that ( I think the lady said she was called Helen- thank you) We will return!

Enjoyable afternoon with a friend, picked off the lunch menu as smaller portions. Food was nice an staff plesant. No push to move us on but we booked an earlier table.

Fabulous food and amazing staff Never had a bad meal

Starter’s was nice however the main course was not good enough for the price . Steak was very bad , no taste at all greasy chips and the mushroom was horrible . Steak was cheap and grey and if I had chucked it at the wall it would of made a hole
