A’Vucciria – RawtenstallThe Whitchaff is only just up the road, but it is often our first choice for a lunch or an evening meal. Our parties range from 2 to 9 and we always enjoy reliably good food. The menu is varied and always satisfying. A small criticism: if I ask for a Diet Coke, I do not want Pepsi! Nobody asks for Bacardi and Pepsi . . . they ask for Bacardi and Coke. The taste is totally different, so why not stock both to satisfy more customers?
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallExcellent food and Service, lovely to speak to 2 new staff Sam and Ash.
A’Vucciria – RawtenstallWe ate here yesterday, 4 adults and 3 children. We specifically requested a backed seated table for the children when booking and was given the best table in the place by the window. Even though it was really busy the service was excellent and our food was delicious. Will definitely be coming again.
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallWe came here for our 1st date last year and then again for our 1 year anniversary. The food is always delicious, my partner loves the Lancashire burger! And I usually have the lasagne however there’s so much on the menu I’d like to try. Service is good and friendly. Not cheap as chips but you get what you pay for and the portions are hearty!
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallFresh, delicious food in a fabulous atmosphere. Super service by all and would highly recommend!
A’Vucciria – RawtenstallGreat service and food, pretty pricey though £5.65 for a pint, food Nino prices.
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallGreat food and atmosphere as always
A’Vucciria – RawtenstallLovely food and great service. The atmosphere was lively- really enjoyed our visit.
A’Vucciria – RawtenstallLovely evening with friends. Restaurant was very busy so quite noisy. Good food, very good service but some dishes quite expensive for what we got.
A’Vucciria – RawtenstallOur first visit - definitely not our last. Delicious food - great selection to choose from. Lovely staff. Hadn’t realised when we booked lunch at 1pm that it closed at 3pm - so missed out on churros for dessert as we’d been so busy talking we lost track of time. First world problem!
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallEverything was spot on. Will be back.
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallAs regular customers, we've eaten many times here and the quality of the food and service are generally very good. In recent times the prices have increased but my main gripe is that when you order a sharing platter for two, they serve odd numbers of food items; eg one arancetta, 5 meatballs etc. It seems such basic and obvious thing to provide even numbers of foods so they are easily divided between two people. Otherwise great experience.
A’Vucciria – RawtenstallWe were 4 adults and 2 children. The menu was varied and suited all tastes. The service was prompt and there was no indication that we needed to go straight after eating. The food was great, everyone said how much they enjoyed their choice. Would recommend.
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallExcel value for money ,6 people had the lunch platters ,1 vegan platter catered for ,all includes a glass of wine each £30 for 2 people ! Amazing fresh unusual salad with orange and fennel in …delicious ,love the peppers and the chick pea fritters fantastic, nothing to not like ,quick service and nice staff , I have been before many times ,but my parents never had Italian tapas ,usually like one big plate of food ,but my dads hearty appetite was satisfied
A’Vucciria – RawtenstallItalian tapas? Who knew! Interesting ‘small bite’ menu and delicious freshly prepared food. Very enjoyable.
A’Vucciria – RawtenstallWe enjoyed a great family meal here, we went early on a Saturday evening and felt very comfortable with our 3year old! The kids pasta sauce was a bit watery and the adults burger meal was quite small but otherwise we had a lovely time!
