Wonderful food. The best meal I have had in a long time. Every dish was just wonderful, not one dish dissapointed. Great service and atmosphere.

A fabulous pre Christmas meal with family in lovely surroundings! All our meals were excellent served really quickly by very friendly staff ! A lovely birthday lunch on 20th December. A’Vucciria has a lovely atmosphere . The food is all freshly prepared and well presented as well as being delicious. The idea of cicchetti / tapas is a great idea especially when the food is good so you can sample a variety

Was a little disappointed that even thought the weather was dreadful outside I wasn’t allowed in the restaurant at 1145 as they didn’t open until 1200. However have to say we really enjoyed the food, nice atmosphere and good service. Would have been good if staff had of known that Stone bass was not the same as Sea bass but it was still enjoyable.

Food was lovely as usual, Fish Pie from the specials menu was delicious. Good red wine selection too.

Me and my husband came for a meal on Saturday the 16th of December and we both had a. Main and desert with drinks and it was all absolutely delicious and the young lady that served us was very attentive the whole experience was excellent Thankyou

This was our 4th time on a Saturday lunch at opening to celebrate my daughters eighteenth. Fantastic food, brilliant service and more than enough high quality food. Would have been nice to get an acknowledgement of her birthday for a full 5/5 but still highly recommended. Will visit again.

Lunch with a former colleague in the building we both worked in when it was a bank. Imaginatively and sensitively restored. Excellent service by everyone - really friendly and professional. The food was amazing - beautifully presented and stunning flavour combinations . Thankyou.

Had a lovely lunch at The Whitchaff. Good service nice quality food and not too pricy. Cumberland sausage with cheesy mash and chives a real winter warmer. Definitely will be back

Went here as my friends 60th birthday. Its a long time since I have eaten here the last time we didn't book and turned away because stop serving in 30 minutes for food. Turkey Roast was ok roasted potatoes cooked but looked insipid in colour. Lamb rump curry Bombay potatoes. Verg spicy. Veg were more stir fried and crunchy and Bombay potatoes just new potatoes skins on tossed in sauce. No rice, No Nan Bread so not filling at all and at £16.95 a very expensive lamb steak. Tiramisu nice flavour but very heavy. Not sure what cream topping was? Very solid. 2 mains 1 pud bottle wine 2 coffees nearly £65.00 . Looked like traditional fish and chips better value. All sounds very negative but just want to be honest.

We booked a table for four, 1pm on a Sunday. Good service and delicious food. Lovely atmosphere with friendly staff. Not our first visit and no doubt not our last. Really enjoyed our meal.
