This is an excellent carvery! The friendliness of the staff is important in keeping customers returning time after time, as is the great choice of meat/vegetables which we love. The booking system allows for the staggering of customers so that there is never a huge queue or wait for food at any one time. There is also a range of seating areas so that different preferences can be accommodated.

Wonderful carvery ..all my favourite food , cauliflower and broccoli cheese, roast,and garlic pots, mash onions, roast parsnips carrots, cabbage, peas sweetcorn, big fluffy yorkies, stuffing balls, well cooked tender beef, gammon, turkey pork and for a bit extra lamb and rich gravy. Clean tables, efficient and friendly staff. We didn't bookfor Sunday lunch till nearly 12, but still managed to get a table at 1 30.Thecarvery was very busy, but did not feel crammed. Best carvery in Redditch ...dog and child friendly, and with seperate desert bar.

The Golden Goose is a much loved local! Great food, great atmosphere and staff who are always willing to accommodate your every need! It’s an amazing place to share special occassions! My family over the years have shared birthdays, retirement and wedding anniversaries there. It’s suitable for everyone in the family and I feel so lucky to be able to have such a wonderful place on my doorstep!

Bar staff could do with more training, slow and grumpy. Went to look for ice cream after eating main course to be approached by a memeber of bar staff who was rudr and told us we needed to hurry up to choose the ice cream. Unbelievable. Onto a positive, the carvery was lovely, and chefs great service.

We arrived in good time for our booking, walked in and booked, we were directed to our table. Bought our drinks, got servers fairly quickly, then qued for our carvery, got plated in no time. We noted that our meat portions were more than we would be given at a Toby carvery. Both our meals were hot, and downed in reasonable time, whilst staying hot. Looking forward to our next visit.

Carvery was really good. Three meats and help yourself to all the vegetables. Gigantic Yorkshire puddings. Staff were very pleasant and the atmosphere was lovely.

We live in NZ visiting family in Redditch, and went to The Golden Goose for Sunday carvery which was very enjoyable. The lady cooking & serving the carvery was especially helpful and the food was excellent, no complaints

Three things to always say about carveries at The Golden Goose: Good Food Good Service Good Price. The afternoon specials are really good, a slightly smaller carvery and a dessert are really good value. Always four meats to choose from and sociable staff.

Excellent carvery, wide range of vegetables and meat. The staff are very friendly. Will highly recommend, value for money in the week.

We attended for carvery, the food was nice but not worth the price. Would be ideal to also have a sign for when you walk in to know where to go. We didn’t realise you had to walk round to the other bar to be seated. We also pre-booked. Customer service for the staff on the bar were non existent and it got confusing for everyone as the queue for the carvery and the queue for the bar seemed to become one. Overall it was ok but wouldn’t visit again.

Had a wait a while to be seated even after booking online, no staff to meet or greet. Finally seated after standing around a while. Food lovely as even but had to wait yet again as staff had been moved on to bar duty leaving the chef on her own. Good quality food, shame about the wait to be seated & to be served.

I go for the best carvery around. It's that good almost don't want to tell any body in case I cannot get in The surroundings are comfortable food fantastic. Enough said.I give it ten stars

We had the carvery and pudding deal , we thoroughly enjoyed it. Excellent value for money and the staff very polite and helpful.

We’d had a busy day in London for my husbands birthday and on impulse we came to The Golden Goose. We had the carvery and we can both honestly say it was one of the best carvery’s we’d ever had. The meat was succulent, the vegetable fresh and not overcooked and it was piping hot. Well done all those who work at the Golden Goose!
