Lovely food, amazing choice and all super hot and tasty!

As always lovely food on carvery. Never had other food on offer. Have to say though overtime food is never hot enough. By the time you get back to table it is already Luke warm.,by the time half way through eating it is cold. Please look at heat lamps/ temperature of plates.

Booked a table for 5 adults on a Sunday. Really good table position especially as the weather was very warm. Friendly welcome and shown to our table. We ordered 4 Sunday lunch and 1 Gluten Free Sunday lunch. Chef who served was very chatty and friendly and the portion size of meat was very good. Lots of lovely vegetables to choose from and all hot. Excellent lunch and we will be booking again soon. Thank you to all staff at the Goose and it is no wonder you are the best in the Midlands area.

Made to feel welcome, all staff very friendly and it was clear to see it was a very well organized establishment. We had two carvery and two meals off the meal. All four meals were amazing, carvery is by far the best we have had! This was our second visit and we will definitely be visiting again. Thank you for having us!

All ways a great carvery , we travel 14 miles there and back and nothing by us compares . Fantastic food , atmosphere and service , great beer thank you for your hard work

Eat here fairly frequently. Foods always good & great value for money. Drinks not badly priced too. We definitely keep coming back.

Nice food plenty of choice at the carvery

3 of us came for the Sunday Carvery on the 29th and as usual the the food was excellent including the pudding and drinks definitely recommend and hope to see you again soon

Friendly staff warm atmosphere great food can’t recommend enough

I found a bar member quite rude and not customer focused. He was putting glasses away whilst taking our orders. With a few people waiting to be served in what was a quiet time in the premises. His name was Aaron. After the delayed service he gave me my reciept with a list of things I didn’t order. I went to the bar to discuss matters and he told me not to worry as the kitchen knew what we wanted . When the food came to us it was the wrong order but we took it anyway as there was enough flapping about. The food was lovely however. I do not believe that Aaron caters or understands disabilities or mental health as no attention was paid nor patience. The food is always brilliant at the golden goose and would recommend always

Excellent...best carvery for miles ..lovely roast parsnips, proper roast potatoes Yorkshires cooked in front of you...succulent meat, choice of 5..all beautifully cooked....huge range of veg Inc garlic potatoes, mash ,cabbage, broccoli and cauliflower in cheese sauce, carrots and peas.. Reasonable price and lovely friendly staff.

Excellent food and service very happy we love the staff and recommend you try it too can't go wrong.

We booked a table for 2 for 6.00pm. We were welcomed upon arrival, checked in and shown to our table. There were quite a number of diners, but not crammed. Due to the pleasant weather, many were outside enjoying the evening. We both had the carvery. Staff were friendly and jovial, meat was tasty and plentiful and a fantastic assortment of vegetables. Excellent value for money. As Arnie said - "I'll be back!"
