About Babba

Babba is a new Turkish and Mediterranean restaurant on Bridge Street in the heart of Warrington. It’s a stylish looking venue – call it industrial chic – with exposed ceilings, an open kitchen and banquette, table and bar seating with space to comfortably seat up to 120 diners. Open seven days a week from noon onwards, Babba offers a contemporary take on Turkish cuisine with lots of dishes cooked over their charcoal grill to impart maximum flavour. Try the Babba Special Mixed Grill Platter. There are also fish, pasta and salad choices as well as an extensive selection of hot and cold mezze starters. Separate lunch and kids menus are available along with a good choice of wines.

Met up with a couple of friends before the Warrington game on Friday for tea. Lovely welcome and attentive service throughout even though a few large parties arrived the staff made everyone feel special. Lovely atmosphere and classy decor. I had the tzaziki with homemade bread and Lamb mousaka with rice and salad dressed in pomegranite juice. I tried my friend's avocado humus which was creamy and a new take on a classic for me. They said the sauté chicken and kebab dishes they had were a good choice. Really good value for money, huge portions and a real homemade rustic quality. Even the rice had a different taste but we couldn't quite figure out the secret ingredient. Everything was well seasoned -a really delicious meal. Good selection of beers and watching the cocktails being made and the open kitchen kept us entertained between courses. I had an espresso to finish as they didn't have Turkish coffee that night a great excuse to go back to try it next time.

Arrived at 17:30, could not fault the service. The only part that let the meal down was we ordered dessert but had to cancel (we waited over 10 minutes it still had not arrived).

First time visiting and blown away food was amazing and very tasty. Service was excellent with no rushing and very polite staff. The restaurant was very clean and well presented in all ways to enjoy a great meal on a evening out and would highly recommend to anyone

We went for my girlfriends birthday the food was absolutely delicious. We had the hot meze sharing plater for starters and it was amazing, the lamb triangles and the feta in filo pastry were outstanding. The sharing plater for two for the main was enormous so much so we had to take some home in a box. Our daughter said the chicken nuggets was the best she had ever had. All round great service, lovely atmosphere and delicious food. Definitely will be back... Soon.
