Baja Mexicali is a vibrant Californian-style restaurant and cocktail bar with branches in Whiteley and Portsmouth city centre. Both restaurants serve up a fusion of traditional Mexican and Californian cuisine ranging from tacos and burritos to quesadillas and Asada fries. Or if you prefer to ‘picar’ there’s a good selection of small plates to share. And don’t forget a cocktail, craft beer or maybe a tequila to complement your meal. Food tasted fine, though only just warm, and we also didn’t receive the side dish we’d ordered. Main issue was lack of staff, though the guy who was working tried his best to keep all the plates spinning and was cheerful and helpful throughout. However, there was still a long wait to take the order.

Beautiful food! This is the nicest Mexican restaurant that I've found within Hampshire. They also do great cocktails and all of the staff are lovely. Cant wait to come back here again.
