we recently visited this establishment for a birthday party. we booked the table for 8pm and did not sit down at our table until 910 pm, whilst may I add it was still being set. There were 9 in our party and they sat 8 of us at the table and the 9th member had to sit on the next table all be it attached but they could not join in any proper conversation. They then brought the plates which were cold and started to dish, they were informed that a steak and chips was missing and also a single portion of chips, also one meal came cold and was returned to kitchen. It was quite evident that they could not cope wit the great numbers of customers they were receiving that night I would not recommend anyone visit this restaurant for a meal in the near future, oh and to add, the member of our party was given her meal in a box to take away steak chips and 5 peas ...lol

My wife and I have been going since it opened and have now been over 100 times. The staff, from the owner down are always very pleasant, friendly and efficient. The food is always excellent and the lager well kept. Absolutely brilliant, no faults at all.

I ate here on Christmas Eve and it was absolutely fantastic….the service and food were top class and we had a great night, you should give this restaurant a try, I am sure that you wont be disappointed!!!!!!!
I love curry
The food here was excellent, it was very tasty but on the downside it was expensive for both the food & drinks. A portion of rice was £2 & 1 pint was £3. The overall bill for 2 adults & 1 child was £43 (1 drink each) The ambience would have got top marks, but for the smoky atmosphere. (This will obviously improve next year, when its banned) Excellent & friendly service from the waiters

Hi, Popped into Balti Stan with our two children whilst visiting Lancashire and we were not disappointed. The food and service were superb, we would definitely recommend a visit. Naan bread to die for, so I would order plenty, the children loved it. Ex Pats - Alnwick, Northumberland.

brilliant, best curry house for miles. i once ordered a curry that was too hot for me and they replaced it free of charge after watching me struggle!
Balti Stan
This is the best indian food we have had, with a huge selection on the menu. You can get a frequent visitor VIP card and save on weekday meals. We practically lived here while we installed our kitchen! The waiters and Owner/Manager; Harun; are extremely friendly and efficient. You can eat here very reasonably, or splash out and have a feast. Highly recommended.
Balti Stan
A Fantastic curry restaurant. I've been to lots and this is my favourite. I'm lucky enough to live not too far away and so get to visit often. I travel extensively through work and often go for curries in different locations in the UK. I still haven't found a better curry house than this. If you go (and you like garlic) try the Chicken Tikka Rashun. Wash it down with a cobra or order a bottle of the excellent rioja.
