I visited bazil recently to celebrate a family member? birthday. I have never received such wonderful service, the "bazil girls" were fab and sue made are night. Although waiting times for food were a little longer than I expected sue and her team kept us entertained throughout our wait. We will be back soon! A big thanks too you all!!!!! Jackie x

I went to Bazil with my family for my birthday dinner as it was recommeded by a friend. Bazil is a little oasis in the middle of Whitley Bay, the food, staff, atmosphere, everything was excellent - couldn't fault a thing. I even got a champagne cocktail and a sparkler in my dessert!!

Bazil is an oasis in a gastronomic desert, but it is still exceptional in speedy immaculate service and imaginative and well-presented dishes. My fillet steak was 2" thick and perfectly cooked as 'medium' as requested, and was so tender it sliced like a peach! Everything on the plate was tasty, not merely decorative. Turkish delight creme brulee... is there anything more wicked?
