Chows at Parkgate has been a fixture of the Wirral dining scene for four decades and under the current ownership for 25 years. It’s an iconic venue, housed in an elegant period building overlooking the Dee estuary, and offers high-end Cantonese food that’s best enjoyed to share with one of their famous banquets. It’s open Wednesday to Sunday and as well as the main restaurant (Chows Eating House) they have s stylish bar area (Chows Meeting House) which has a very different vibe – you can enjoy the same menu but it’s over-21s only with a great selection of cocktails, wines and champagnes. It can also cater for private parties of up to 50 people. Chows also has a takeaway service (Chows At Home) and Chows Wine Club, offering fine wines both in the restaurant and for purchase online.
