Mash Tun is a new urban beer house that has opened on the site of Grafene on Manchester’s King Street. The new venue brings live music, real ale, craft beers and bistro-style easy eating to the heart of the city. A pewter bar runs the length of the room offering a choice of two dozen cask and keg ales and all the ales are on show in a glass-fronted cellar. It’s one of the widest selections of craft beers in the city centre. There’s a live music stage with a smart sound system and food is served all day from an open kitchen where Head Chef Nick Moore (ex-Texture and Richard Corrigan Mayfair in London) has put together and all-day menu which includes easy eating dishes like Royale Burger, Octopus Salad and Chickpea Masala as well as a thousand different combinations of sausage, mash and gravy! Mash Tun is open seven days a week until 1am and is also has rooms available for private hire if you are planning a party or event.
