This restaurant is excellent value for money, at £7.95 per head. This is the ideal restaurant if you like to try a little bit of everything. There's nothing worse than wanting to try a couple of things on the menu and having to decide on one. With Massala there is no deciding. Just just have what you fancy, and some. The food is excellent, plenty of starters including, onion bhaji's, shami kebabs, chicken chat, veg pakoras, cauliflower bhaji, meat and veg samosa's to name but a few. Mains include: Chicken tikka massala, korma, tandori lamb, kursi, bhuna, Plenty of rice and naan's (used to be brought to you) now self serve at the starter section. The service is very good.. always very polite and attentive. You get some places that are very clicky, but there are no weird atmospheres in this place. So go on....give it a whirl!!

I have never been to an Indian buffet restaurant before so did not know what to expect. We went in and had drink in the bar before our meal and sat on a comfortable leather settee. We went in for our meal and was taken to our table. The waiter explained how it worked and asked if we would like some fresh bread with our meal which we said we would order later. We went for our starters and we had about 10 different options along with the usual chutneys etc. When we returned to our table we found some fresh poppadoms waiting for us. The starters where great although we did not find anything spicy (which we like). We ordered a garlic nan and some chapatis. We waited a while which was fine it let the starters go down and then went for the currys. There was 3 different rices - highly recommend the mushroom one it was great - along with about 6-7 different currys. Again nothing was really spicy but what we had was good. When we had finished we then was asked if we would like a pudding - which we both had the lemon cake - brilliant. We went on a Thursday evening and for £7.95 it was really good value. we will be going again

Not very good, Buffet style food was only just warm and not much left. The quality of the meat in the main meals was not good very chewy fatty meat. The restaurant looks nice until you look closer everything has been finished badly. NOT IMPRESSED i didnt expect much at £8 for 3 course and i didn't get much. Such a shame as Massala rooms in foulridge the other restaurant which they own is a lot lot better. Massala Accrington has put me of going to either of theses places
