This is another hidden gem of a restaurant on the West Road just outside of Newcastle. The food is excellent and it has a good menu, its lovely inside and well worth a visit.

A group of us met here for lunch yesterday and were extremely surprised with the £7.50 lunch menu which consisted of a starter, main meal with side dish and a choice of dessert or tea/coffee. The food was delicious and the portions were huge! The place itself had a very grand feel to it.. Were already planning our next trip :o)

I agree with curry head. This place has not been open that long and is beautifully furnished which made my husband and I think that it would be expensive. As a matter of fact it was average prices along with most Indian Restaurants and the house wine was about £7.99 which surprised us. We did wait a long time for our meal I think there was some problem in the kitchen but the staff couldn't apologise enough. The food was very good and worth the wait. I would definitely go again.

Just discovered this gem of a place totally by accident, not sure why I had not heard of it before. The food reminded me of when I travelled through India more than a few years agoÅ The atmosphere was relaxed & the waiters were attentive without being obtrusive. Will certainly be returning for another fantastic lamb tikka jalfrezi. Thank you
