We have gone to the Star for many years, best for value ,food, and service. Recommend to anyone.

called in one day during the week just the two of us for lunch. £3.95 for 3 courses the missus had chicken chatt which she said was superb i went for onion bhajis (2) wonderful. Main courses were 2 chicken madras once again delightful, onion pillau chips.(extras) 2 plain nan breads. One ice cream and one coffee(part of the 3 course menu)2 pints of Kingfisher and 2 cokes £17 wat a bargain Fantastic> Why a lot more people don`t write about this place is beyond me.Fantastic food and a nice relaxing atmosphere

Excellent food, a chicken Vindaloo to die for superb. Tables down the sides are separated for your privacy, although the waiters keep looking to see if you are finished which is a bit of a pain. All in all a very good meal for peanuts really.
