Awful awful awful awful food. And £27.95 for the privilege (set menu price for an evening 3 course meal).
The breakfast is fine though if you are staying the night.

On December 1st 2007 We went to the Studley Castle on a "Special Christmas Party" at a cost of £37.50. The food was not too bad for a Christmas function. The staff were miserable and unwelcoming. There approximately 30 people at this event with diners from the hotel in the restaurant as well.30 people at an event like this is not enough so consequently there was no atmosphere. after the meal we went to the room for the disco. The room must be situated next to the septic tank as the pungent smell here here was unbearable. The music was actually on a cd, on repeat. After several people complained the DJ arrived 1 hour later. The evening was ruined. The drinks were extremely expensive. I recommend that you do not visit this hotel it is dreadful.
