I was really disappointed, we booked because of the family Thursday deal, when we arrived the staff informed us the deal wasn't on because not all the options on the menu were available.
The meal cost twice as much as it was advertised, I felt conned

Visited the lovely Capella restaurant again and had a very tasty 6 dishes between each of our two couples. Plenty of delicious choices, good sized tasty portions. Had a very nice bottle of well priced red wine.
Attentive staff who made the whole experience great.
A few more diners would have added to the atmosphere, but there was a cosy feel to the restaurant.
It's so nice to have lovely Italian food in the village.

We had a great meal on Saturday night at the Tigers Head, our local pub. We all had different items from the menu and all meals were of high quality. All the dishes were served piping hot which was exactly how they should be ! The service from the staff was very good and our drinks were replenished at the table without having to go the bar. The draught Weetwood bitter was particularly good. All in all well done to the Tigers Head. It is great to have our local pub delivering quality meals again.

The food was excellent but ……. 4 of us went and we were the only people in the restaurant so not much atmosphere although the room has been nicely set out and decorated. We all ordered 2 dishes which all came out at different times. One of our party got one dish and shortly after her second dish before anyone else got anything. The other two people got dishes while I got nothing for ages. My second dish came out last and was really hot so I was eating on my own at the end. Not ideal! When taking the order it surely would be possible to write who has what and to at least bring out one dish for each person first? and then the other dishes. Not the chef’s fault as he has no idea who ordered which dish! Can’t fault his cooking though as the food was delicious.

Great find , great value for money and very tasty, the caramelised pear and goat cheese ravioli was the best I've ever had, recommend a visit , really well decorated and friendly staff
