would not recommend go to mcdonalds beside, staff more pleasant , my Family and I found the Thindford Inn undernew management, looks nice BUT kitchen staff, and management rude and insulting, need a lot of customer relations training, would not go back.
Chunky
Visited tuesday evening 7th September. We ordered Mince & dumplings and Liver & onions. Neither was available so opted for carvery ( 2 for £10) There was only choice of Pork or dried up Turkey. The vegetables had nearly all gone and what remained was very dry. When asked if there would be fresh replacements the chef held up his hands and disappeared into the kitchen, never to return.
The staff were clueless and unapologetic. My advice is don't bother.

it was years since i had been to the thinford inn.my son was coming up 15 so off we all went for a family meal ,the thinford has changed a lot but for the better ,lovely decor spacious tables, theres nothing worse than tables crammed too close together.we all opted for the carvery and what a carvery it was lovely ,choice of meats humongous sized light fluffy Yorkshire puds and a good selection of veg, what a plate full we had, 2 navvies couldn't shake hands over the plates.everything was lovely the bar staff the chef the waitress what a lovely night we had and we are certainly going back again thank you thinford

I recently went to the Thinford Inn and was greeted by a staff member called Carli. She made my visit to the Thinford a highly enjoyable and memorable experience for me and my family. The food was magnificent and I must say; good value for money! Carli was so nice and when you go to the Thinford Inn next say Hi! and she really does deserve a good tip.
