Thai Erawan Restaurant – Roundhayi have been going to rice for the past 2 months, i think the food is beautiful the service is great, the staff are friendly and helpful. some of the waiters are CUTE.
Rice Restaurant – RoundhayI've been to nawaabs a few time to tell you the truth i didn't enjoy it the atmosphere was dull, the service wasn't excellent, the food was ok. i was expecting more, friends told me its a nice place to eat but i guess they were wrong. i prefer the restaurant down the road rice. sorry to say that.
Nawaab Khan – Roundhaygreat food, service oh so lovely better than average Chinese msg stuff
Thai Erawan Restaurant – RoundhayThe White House Pub is my recommended choice as it offers all to the diner or drinker. It has a good atmosphere & is very relaxing. The staff are helpful & friendly & you can get all varieties of food.I had a very good fillet steak recently
White House – RoundhayFantastic food, authentic atmosphere staff were great, highly recommend RICE for enjoyable night of good food!!
Rice Restaurant – RoundhayThank you so much. The curried goat, rice and peas was amazing. The warmth and service was second to none. The journey from the Dales was worth it. By far the best I've had.
Maureens Caribbean Eat In Or Takeaway – Roundhayexcellent value for money, fair superior to the chain pubs. Un-fussy good quality food and a welcoming atmosphere. I look forward to many return visits
Roundhay Fox – RoundhayOoh dear... seems like we went on a duff night... and for my birthday, too! We were the only people there. The waitress was very friendly, and the starters were OK, if tasting distinctly like pre-cooked food heated up... But the main courses were such a disappointment. Two were so salty we couldn't eat them and the sticky rice was so stuck together you needed a sledgehammer to prise it apart! All the main courses looked and tasted like a cheap Chinese takeaway. We've been to Thai restaurants before so thought we'd get something really special... But really disappointed all round...
Thai Erawan Restaurant – RoundhayWe used to love this pub! So cosy and atmospheric (crackling log fires, candles on tables, old furniture, dim lighting, etc) with fantastic home-cooked restaurant-style food but I think it's been taken over by another chain who have sucked out all the character and replaced it with yet another 'suburban' style interior (no log fires, no candles, bright lighting, no 'chalk board' menu) with a lack-lustre 'pub grub' type menu (burgers, etc). So be warned if you're expecting the 'old' White House... It's changed!
White House – Roundhayawful... Having waited an hour and a half for a takeaway, I was pleasantly surprised to discover a box full of tasteless, greasy Indian food. Perhaps more edible after a night out
Saffron – RoundhayThe food at this restaurant is absolutely spot on. Eaten here a few good times now and all the dishes have been excellent. The masalla fish starter is plentiful and well flavoured. The seekh kebabs are also good (served on a sizzler with onions) which is always a bonus! On to the main courses and i can highly recommend the Balti Garlic Chicken Chilli, and karahi fish and lamb bhuna. If you like garlic naans then you wont be disappointed. The garlic naans here are MASSIVE! and very very tasty indeed.. Overall the food is excellent, and the choice varied. Try it, You wont be disappointed!
Saffron – RoundhayWe've eaten at Raja's for years and love it. The food is authentic and delicious. The service is friendly and attentive. Long may it prosper.
Raja’s – RoundhayGreat Great restaurant, pleasant and efficient staff, excellent service and food extremely tasty, fresh and authentic. I highly recommend the Fish Masala starter! Excellent value for money, wine only £7.95!!!
Saffron – RoundhayReally wouldn't recommend the restaurant - no atmosphere, cramped and really cheap looking. Food was okay but nothing special, city centre restaurants are far better, if you need something local then I'd stick to a takeaway to be honest.
Curry Lounge – RoundhayFantastic Food, really lovely staff. Good Value for Money
Thai Erawan Restaurant – RoundhayI have been going here for over 20 years. They offer great curries and also I have to say the best Keema nans on the planet, they have no equal anywhere I have been. Pakoras are superb, not soggy like some places. Many Asians go here for their meals and that must be a recommendation too. Superb all round food.
Tastys Karahi Restaurant – RoundhayA satisfactory evening. Food cold-ish but cheap. Curry took a long time to come but we did get extra poppadams when we complained. Did gve us chips too albeit a bit reluctantly!
Raies – Roundhay
