Rice Restaurant – RoundhayRead some of your reviews & gastro Leeds magazine page, super food, service great the young waitress is ever so sweet and beautiful, her recommendations were spot on(we have never tried Thai food before, definitely will v soon again, everything wonderful, shame a little quiet. 9/10 thank you Terry & Anna xxxxxxxx
Thai Erawan Restaurant – Roundhaywonderful food and service the presentation is just beautiful went to see the fireworks at the park and very glad we dined at the Erawan we live in Morley the Thai there is great but this is better, just a quick note to recommend the Erawan, not treated as another customer more a friend and not rushed for your table (even when we went and quite busy, the house wine was tasty for 10 quid (a snip at today? prices) best wishes 4 the future bob & Yvonne
Thai Erawan Restaurant – RoundhayThis place is excellent. Max is the nicest restaurant owner that Ive met so far in Leeds. And his favourite dish, the Achari Gosht is fantastic. Im a vindaloo lover myself but I thought Id give it a whirl and it didnt disappoint. It was spicy and yet tasty all at once. Ive also had a take away from there previously. Max knocked me up a chicken tindaloo which was the hottest thing Ive ever tasted. Nowhere in Leeds, that Ive found, does a hotter curry, it was superb! Id fully recommend this restaurant.
Raies – Roundhaythis restaurant is absolutely fantastic! the food is very tasty, the service is fast and efficient, the portions are excellent. The staff are very, very nice and always speak to you as a person, not as a customer. Love the place! Well done to the staff at Erawan.
Thai Erawan Restaurant – RoundhayI never really liked Indian food until i sampled the cuisine at Raja's. Since then i go back on a regular basis and no Indian restaurant matches. I have got to say it is the best in the world!! The waiters are very friendly and always have a smile on there faces.
Raja’s – RoundhayWe keep returning here and it never falls short of expectations. The menu keeps being updated (try the mushroom risotto - out of this world!) but the many of the staff have been there years, which I always find is and indication of a happy, well run ship.
Rico’s – RoundhayFirst visit, Thursday 27/7, we live just down the road have passed a few times not so busy but decided to try tonight good atmosphere 4 or so tables pretty good for a small place, food superb, the presentation wonderful, service also good must mention the dishes we ordered Thai fish cakes (the best ive had) pad Thai and mee grob its all very lovely, best pad thai gai I have tasted 4 a long time,(hope I?e spelled correct) the little chef even visited our table and asked if everything ok, even if wasn? couldn? have had a bad word as she was so sweet, don? worry chef really really good almost faultless, must recommend to our friends visit, and I doubt much disappointment, all the best Thomas Kavanagh (Eire)
Thai Erawan Restaurant – RoundhayVisited on Friday, not so busy at 7.00 when we entered but was almost full when we departed at approx 9.00, wonderful food, presentation oh so good, service from the Thai girls perfect (so refreshing, just don? see this kind of smiling happy service from English staff, and I am English) The value was good, great win, went for a Sicilian white terre ginestra absolutely Devine, pricey at £19.00 but pure quality. A great evening had by all thank you staff for making us feel so welcome, real pity you don? have a branch in Ramsgate where we live, was working in Leeds and stayed at a guest house on wetherby road good luck will see you if we visit Leeds in the future xx sian connerly
Thai Erawan Restaurant – RoundhayI recently enjoyed an evening at the Nawaab Khan Restaurant for my birthday party. I have to say that the food is absolutely wonderful and the quality of taste easily surpasses the taste of the big name curry houses in West Yorkshire. We ate from the set meal selection on the menu and the service was excellent. Mine host, Sajid, was very attentitive throughout the evening and we all enjoyed the experience immensely.
Nawaab Khan – RoundhayGreat, tasty, we came as our friends from Glasgow wanted a Thai meal, we live in Roundhay and didn? know about the Erawan (we do now) not sure if they have been open long but all very professional (service, food, etc) top marks to the lovely happy smiling Thai girls, and the manager was a pleasant friendly chap. Thought it would be busier definitely not anything to do with the food, service and quality good luck for the future we will see you again xxx Marge & Rita
Thai Erawan Restaurant – RoundhayI often read the reviews of the Thai restaurants in Oakwood and chapel Allerton. Don? agree with the comments regarding the Thai Erawan from a customer of the Sukhothai as i have tried both weekly, both are lovely, can? fault the Erawan for food, service, and value sometimes a little quiet don? expect that for too long, one good thing always possible to get a table and not rushed out (unlike the other Thai restaurant)
Thai Erawan Restaurant – RoundhayVisited on Friday for some reason not so busy, strange considering the superb food, service, presentation. food and quantity faultless, the restaurant is beautifully decorated and very clean overall a great evening, perhaps the warm weather makes Oakwood restaurants quiet as they don? have a nice wine bar maybe the future, anyway would i recommend the Erawan absolutely give it a try (if you enjoy great, healthy food with top notch service) xx nikki
Thai Erawan Restaurant – RoundhayRead some of your comments on this site passed the Erawan and not disappointed. Soups superb, lemon grass, lime leaves and galanga lovely, Chinese and Indian cant hold a torch to this delicious food, sorry im converted to Thai now. The Erawan is a wonderful restaurant food ,service 10/10 nice friendly family run restaurant a little quiet when we visited but sure to get better, a nice Malaysian/ Burmese family joined as we nearly finished ,very well taken care off must be regulars( nice) good work one and all will be seeing you soon
Thai Erawan Restaurant – RoundhayAgain and again the Erawan comes up trumps, we travel from Wakefield (sometimes after work) the one in Wakefield isn? that good, Oakwood and Chapel Allerton are easily the best, the one in Chapel Allerton is good but we prefer the Erawan as we have been 5 times now since opening and are treated like friends and family, food, service, presentation really can? find a fault, thank you very much. Ps booked for my fathers 50th in August. Thank You All, regards Ross
