We had a beautiful meal at the fat loaf for my birthday! Definitely a venue for a treat. The restaurant is so pretty and the food/ drinks are amazing value for money. We will definitely be back!

Love this place. Me mum and sis have been coming for years. Love that Mo will create a meal for you if you fancy some thing new. Has a nice buzz and really easy to book online which we’ve started doing as it’s so busy. They will also serve at your pace if like us you like to enjoy the pops and have a chat without the starters coming at the same time.

Excellent service and good Sunday roasts. My daughter was disappointed there was no stuffing or whole carrots but the chicken was succulent & the roast potatoes nice & crispy. Slightly annoying that the prices on the website are lower than on the menu so that needs updating.

Every dish was absolutely delicious. The service is excellent, very relaxed/casual and I mean this in a good way, it makes you feel relaxed. So lucky to have this standard of food so local. We love it there.

Thoroughly enjoyed our meal at The Fat Loaf , Ashton on Mersey . Steaks cooked to perfection and granddaughter enjoyed the duck. Delicious desserts. Service good even though very busy. Nice atmosphere

Loved the fact that this restaurant is so laid back but the food they produce is exquisite! The service is second to none and we definitely will be back!!

It’s hard to believe that having eaten in so many restaurants around the world, we have by far the best one on our doorstep. We’ve enjoyed the fat loaf for a good few years now and have never had a bad meal. Tim and his team have always made us welcome and looked after us. I highly recommend the place and hope it’s here for a very long time.

Another lovely evening at The Fat Loaf. Delicious food and attentive staff as always. My preferred choice over any of the pretentious restaurants in Sale town centre. Highly recommended!

What a hidden gem the Fat Loaf is, me and my husband have always walked past it and despite living in the village for many years had never been in. We will definitely be going back as the food was fantastic! All the small plates were delicious, we tried the croquettes, flatbread and ragu which were so good! Then we had steak and chicken followed by delicious desserts of sticky toffee pudding and chocolate fondant. We will definitely be back and delighted this restaurant is practically on our doorstep

Excellent service, great food, nice drinks. Will be returning. Prices were a bit high for some of the foods but didn't mind paying as it was so delicious. Also note sure if prices had been raised for Valentine's day. Will defo be back.

Another great evening spent at The Fat Loaf. We took friends who hadn't been before and they were really impressed and plan to return soon. The food is always delicious - consistent high quality - with a great wine selection to accompany. The staff are very friendly and helpful- a special mention for Theresa who is great!
